making big plays from under center. Logan really impressed last season in his first year with the program, emerging as a dual-threat QB who can move the chains with his arm or legs. Several teams seemed to overlook Logan’s ability to scramble and got burned for long gains, as he displayed solid burst when hitting the hole and acceleration to separate from defenders. He also runs with great vision to find open creases in the defense. I wish I had a larger film sample of Logan as a passer, but from what I’ve seen on tape and previous camps, he displays a quick-fire arm that can get the ball out fast and on the money. Definitely looking forward to seeing more from Logan this offseason.

Kracht also showed out during drills. Running a 4.9 40-yard dash, 4.72 shuttle and 7.5 L drill, Kracht showed a ton of mobility for a sophomore. He seemed mature for his age and the potential growth in skill, and physical attributes, made you excited about Gretna East’s future. Kracht is getting experience in a shotgun offense, with RPO being part of the gameplan. This plays into his strengths with his ability to move and keep defenses guessing. As Kracht continue to evolve his mechanics and arm strength, we could see the emergence of a new QB that needs attention in Gretna.
