- 5’11, 170-pound 2028 DB/WR prospect out of Millard West High School (NE). Carries a 4.0 GPA, scored a 23 on the PACT and an 1168 on the PSAT, earned Honorable Mention All-Metro honors, and competes in baseball and basketball.
I had heard rumors that a prospect from Nebraska would be attending, but I had no idea how highly regarded KJ Fox already was until I looked him up and saw he was ranked inside the Top 100 on our Nebraska 2028 board. It made complete sense after watching him dominate this event. Fox and Khynar Collier were the two defensive backs who controlled camp from start to finish. Pesky, physical, excellent with his hands, and always knew when to attack the receiver versus when to locate the football. Outstanding ball skills. He came away with two or three interceptions and was extremely attentive to the coaching throughout the day. This was an exemplary camp performance from both a talent and maturity standpoint. As someone who primarily covers Pennsylvania, I walked away extremely impressed with Fox’s long term potential. Normally when a prospect is already ranked this highly, I don’t see much room for movement. While I am not involved with Nebraska’s rankings, I could certainly see a future where Fox climbs even higher. Great work.

Millard West’s KJ Fox played a limited role as a sophomore but looks primed to be a bigger part of both the offense and defense going into his junior campaign. Last season, KJ recorded six receptions, 59 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown, and seven tackles. Fox had some great plays on his tape that highlighted his ability to play the ball at the catch point and break up passes. He is a solid athlete who moves well in coverage, with good footwork and pad level in his backpedal, and fluid hips and sharp change of direction. On offense, I was impressed with KJ’s twitchiness with the ball in his hands, especially when he has some space in front of him, showing he can take advantage of blocks to spring free for a big gain.
