Dante is a great receiver with good burst off the line and shifty hips at the top of the route.  He plays with great vision and can get hands on the ball quickly.  Dante runs sharp routes and has sticky fingers.  He competed well and held his own against excellent players.  Dante is headed to Milton Academy and will be a great target for QB1.

Dante is the MIAA Division 1 leading scorer from the Class of 2026 with 11 TDs.

Film Highlight Review: Dante is an explosive RB. He shows high level acceleration and quickness through the LOS. Dante is a savvy RB, who squares his shoulders up well and does not go down after first contact. He is also a factor in the pass game and can catch the ball reliably coming out of the backfield. Berger is a guy that can play every snap. 

Projection: His physical measurables (height and weight) align him as a Division 1- Division 2 prospect.

Head Coach Notes/Analysis: Superior athletic ability. 11.26 FAT timed hundred-meter dash. Good vision and ability to pull away in the open field. Great ball skills. Wants to be great and very coachable. D1 potential.

Dante Berger Dante Berger 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Hun School | 2027 NJ   His vision to find running lanes with the ball in his hands pops on film.  He is quick and has good game speed. Has very good hands.  His hips are loose and he can wiggle in and out of traffic at 1st and 2nd level play. He is productive running through the tackles. Just a freshman with time to continue developing.

“Berger” is a running back name we are hearing about that already has the size and speed to play on varsity.  In review of his youth film, we easily can see why many are telling us about him.  He was unmatched at the youth level.  Every time he carried the ball, he was a threat to take it to the house. Many of his runs are just him using his speed to runaway from defenders as they try to tackle him.  At 5’11” 185lbs this season, he is projected to get some varsity reps at RB and could also break into the starting lineup.  He will be bringing his talents to Andover H.S. in Massachusetts this fall 2022. Just recently, we were told this highly-touted freshman has come into pre-season as advertised.  The 5-11, 185-pound halfback/defensive back is expected to see time on both sides of the ball immediately.
