Here is the Pre-Season First Team Virginia 3A All State Offense.
Cumbie is the 2nd ranked QB in the Class of 2023. He was named 2nd Team Class 3 All State QB and Offense All Purpose, and First Team All Region All Purpose. The recent Buffalo Commit, was also a State Champ in the 55 Hurdles and was ranked Top 25 Nationally. Last season, he was 83 completions on 171 Passing Attempts, threw for 1,360 Passing Yards, had 17 Touchdowns, ran for 404 Rushing Yards, and had 7 Rushing Touchdowns.
Alexander is the 3rd ranked Quarterback in the Class of 2024. He was named 1st Team All Region and Northwestern All District All Purpose. He led Brentsville to a 11-3 record last season, by throwing for over 1,300 Passing Yards and Rushing for over 500 yards.
Highlights
Taylor is the 7th ranked Running Back for 2023, and was First Team All District along with being named First Team All Region last season. He helped Phoebus to a Class 3A Championship, was also a part of their 4×1 State Champion relay team, was an individual state qualifier in the 55 Meter Dash, and is ranked #4 in 200 Meters Dash for the state. He holds offers from Buffalo, Kent State, UMass, Cincinnati, and James Madison.
Henderson, who is the younger brother of Ohio State Running Back TreVeyon Hopewell , is one of the more dynamic backs in the state. He has offers from West Virginia, Duke, Coastal Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Old Dominion, Virginia Tech, and Virginia.
Bass earned 1st Team All State, First Team All Region , and 3rd Team All Tidewater honors as a Defensive Back. However, he is a equally as deadly weapon on the opposite side of the ball. The Phoebus athlete also qualified for states in the 55 meter and 300 meter events as a sprinter. He has already narrowed his Top 5 programs down to University of Virginia, Pitt, Virginia Tech, Boston College, and the University of North Carolina.
Leonte Oulahi
Leonte Oulahi
Oulahi was the key part of the Armstong offense. The Wildcats struggled last season, but the senior Wide Receiver was one of the few bright spots during the season. Oulahi was All Metro Honorable Mention last season and should have another strong season this year.
Keesee is the 9th ranked Offensive Lineman in the state for the Class of 2023. He and the offensive line unit led the Bees to an average of 32 points per game. Brookeville went 8-4 last season and made it to the Quarterfinals of the State Playoffs.
Britton is one of the Top 20 ranked Offensive Lineman in the state for the Class of 2023. The Titans averaged 32.6 points per game went 6-5 and made it the Class 3A State Playoffs.
Toliver was named BRD 2nd Team All Offense last season. The Cavalier’s junior and offensive line unit led the team to an average of 35.8 points per game and a State Quarterfinal appearance before losing to Abingdon. Toliver has offers from Virginia Tech, Liberty, Louisville, and Virginia.
Conley was named All State Honorable Mention , All County, First Team All District, First Team All Region Offensive Line, and All County Offensive Lineman Of The Year. He was also named All County, 2nd Team All District , and 2nd Team All Region as a Defensive Lineman. Christiansburg averaged 37 points per game and the 2nd Round of the State Playoffs.
Phelps is a powerful lineman who also shows great lateral movement. Hidden Valley finished the season 7-4, averaged 26.4 points per game, and had a First Round State Playoff appearance before losing to Lord Botetourt. Phelps and the Titans will look to make a stronger run into the playoffs this season.
