As you can see by the overall and positional rankings, our 2025 TE Class is absolutely loaded. Despite the talented group, Trent has always been right there fighting for one of the top spots. He checks so many boxes of a dominant receiving threat TE. The senior has the massive frame to tower over DBs and out- muscle LBs. His hands easily secure the pass away from his body, yet they are strong enough to be able to hang on through contact or rip the ball away from a sea of hands. Despite the huge frame, Trent has outstanding body control and balance that has given him the ability to run crisp routes and also be surprisingly elusive after the catch. Trent is the best player available in WI and it is by a decent margin.

. The Power 4 prospect is an exceptional matchup nightmare for offensive coordinators to utilize. He has a massive frame at 6’5″ with soft hands to fully maximize his catch radius. He is a smooth athlete that can get clean releases from inline or out wide. His body control while running routes allows him to quickly accelerate out of breaks. The massive target does a good job with his timing at the catch point if he needs to go up and high point the ball too. Trent is a weapon you can line up all over the field, ensuring you get good matchups. Trent has been on multiple Official Visits this summer. Looking forward to seeing where he commits.

It’s a good crop of TEs in the Badger State’s 2025 class, and with the amount of P4-worthy rising senior TE prospects, plus the tradition of TE prowess Wisconsin has set for itself, means we should have a freak or two in the mix.
At 6’5, 230 lbs., Brookfield East’s Trent Oiler has produced an 11.03 100M, 22.09 200M, 48.69 400M, 6′ high jump, 19’8 long jump, 41-0.75 triple jump, 6.69 55M, and 7.24 60M, and he’s competed at both the New Balance Indoor Nationals as a sophomore and Nike Indoor Nationals in March. Oiler also popped off a 9’5″ broad jump and 4.69 40 at the PRzWI Showcase and has clocked an 80 MPH pitch and 7.07 60 yard dash as a baseball prospect. That is some serious speed for a big fella, and Oiler’s ability to compete so well in a wide variety of track and field events is as rare as it is impressive for a 6’5, 230 lber. That is functional athleticism folks, and schools like Central Michigan, South Dakota, Boston College, Coastal Carolina, Akron, Rutgers, Ohio, Appalachian State, Army, UAB, Marshall, and Missouri all noticed and reached out with offers, and Oiler has official visits set to Rutgers and Mizzou.
Positionally versatile as a TE, WR, and DE, Oiler also returns kicks and has to be one of the biggest kick returners in the Midwest, showing the speed to capitalize on seams in a coverage unit and pull away from pursuers. He even has a rep of him making a beautiful open-field tackle on kickoff coverage, cementing himself as a three-phase standout and contributor, always a good sign of a possible gridiron-based freak. Oiler can flex out or operate as a traditional inline TE, and he displays contested catch ability, quick and effective footwork at the LOS in his releases, and the speed to stack and pull away from cornerbacks when working vertically. The 6’5, 230 lber. is a fluid athlete who can break his routes off smoothly and create separation at the top of the route and is an effective blocker at the second level in space who can use his length and take advantage of body positioning to wash defenders out of the play. Plus, he dominates when blocking DBs and third level defenders out on the perimeter. Can’t wait to see who lands this Wisconsin-born-and-bred freak of a TE!

. He offers a rare mismatch in the passing game that a college OC is going to love. Trent can really run in the open field. The highlights show him crossing the field and pulling away from DBs. He attacks the ball in the air with strong hands, uses that size to shield out DBs, and the balance is there to be able to run effective routes with speed. The size, speed, strength mismatch is a special prospect at the TE position. He has several Power Four OVs set over the coming weeks.

The 2025 TE Class is as elite as they come. We have seen a handful already commit to the FBS level with a couple more that I expect to be joining them. The leader of those uncommitted star TEs is

. The TE out of Brookfield East is a massive prospect at 6’5″ 230 lbs. The massive prospect has the size of an elite TE and the athleticism of a wide receiver. That allows him to dominate while lined up traditionally or split out wide. Trent is able to get off the line quickly and get vertical with pure speed. He also has the body control to be able to run effective routes and leave DBs trying to catch up. The big man also has the ball tracking skills and strong hands to be a monster in the redzone. Whether he is shielding the ball and taking a hit at the catch or going up and getting it at the high point, Trent is able to corral the ball. He is a nightmare anywhere on the field, especially in the redzone. Big things are ahead for Trent.
