Another impressive 2028 OL from Sunday was Brookfield east Jack Ripley Jack Ripley 6'2" | 255 lbs | OL/DL Brookfield East | 2028 State WI . It was great to see him deliver a great showing because I had high hopes with him being a Top 10 OL in the Class of 2028. The 6’2″ 255 lbs OT started his day off with a pair of 5.36 laser timed 40s, 4.87 shuttle, and 8’2.5″ broad jump. Numbers that show he can move around pretty naturally, but that was nothing compared to when we actually got to do OL work.

Jack is working his way into being an impressive recruit. As just a sophomore he already has an intriguing blend of power and athleticism. In 1 on 1 reps Jack repped out the ability to move with quick feet, change direction suddenly, and quickly set his anchor to battle a bull rush. Every one of those movements was always supported by college quality power. The second he would land his initial strike you saw the force behind it. Whenever he had to change direction while engaged you didn’t see him have to give up ground. It was like his strength was always being flexed no matter what he had to do during the rep to stay in front of and engaged with his man. Coaches at the next level need to ensure they have Jack on their 2028 boards.

I love the aggression Jack brings to the trenches. He comes out of his stance shot out of a cannon and with bad intentions. Even in pass protection the sophomore OL is violent with his hands, and they pack a punch that can quickly send DL to the ground. In the run game Jack is able to turn that quickness out of his stance into power that overwhelms DL because he gets on them so quickly and never lets his feet quit. At just 6’2″ 255 lbs the sophomore was able to move a lot of dudes in the trenches in 2025. Big things ahead for him as he continues to grow. Don’t sleep on him.
