Jake has had a fantastic camp season, earning 3 D2 offers alone since the Mega Camp took place. Not to mention he has others before that too. At Minnesconsin the standout DB had a strong showing that included a 4.65 40, 4.53 shuttle, 9’6″ broad jump, and a 32.5″ vertical. All while weighing in at 6’1″ 193 lbs. It was great to see him in coverage because on tape we see him a lot against the run, near the line of scrimmage and making plays behind it. So that box has long been checked, and this summer we are seeing that the athletic senior can quickly flip his hips, get good depth with his backpedal off the line, and has that closing burst to make plays on the ball and bait QBs. It is great to see one of the top DBs further verify his versatility.

We love the way Jake plays on Friday nights. His film is so fun to watch as he flies around the field between the OLB and S positions. The ’26 looks like he fits best on the back end as a safety at the next level, and his tape suggests he has the three down ability needed at the position. Jake checks the run support box very early in his tape. He is aggressive, closes quickly, and flies through traffic unblocked consistently. This is the type of DB you can trust to be a positive against the run game. Snyder is also a fantastic tackler who delivers powerful hits that completely take ball carriers off their feet. Then you watch him in coverage and you see that same aggressive, downhill attacking vs passes caught anywhere in front of him. The junior has the top end speed to be able to roam a deep half of the field and make plays on the ball. Dive into this kid’s tape.

of BE was a tackling machine throughout the game. Jake is an excellent last line of defense who has the range to chase down ball carriers. As a tackler, the junior packs a punch as he runs his feet through contact and does a great job wrapping up. Plus when he lowers the shoulder Jake is the hammer that brings the power to the opponent. Snyder is also able to line up all over the field. You can trust him on the back half to read and react. You can have him in the slot and he will fill aggressively off the edge vs the outside run. The athletic prospect also offers special teams return abilities. Check out the junior. We are big fans of his talents.

. Jake showed off persistent pad-level in Indy Drills with his attacking hands. He also at 6’1 175 pounds, showed off significant range in his steps to the ball as that popped out in Oak Creek and pops out efficiently on tape too. Jake showed off as a defensive back today, but this kid has some position flexibility, as he plays on all three levels of the field and is a 2026 to track out of Brookfield East.
