Aydan is a player who I think is still being slept on and that’s why he made a big jump in the final rankings up ~30 spots to #11 and now the #5 overall DB in what is the deepest & most talented position group in MD.
He is a player who passes the eye ball test, every time I’ve seen QO this year he pops. Great frame, muscled up player with good length. He plays fast & physical and has that dawg mentality. Aydan has elite ball skills, tracks it well and always goes up and attacks the pass. That is supported by the stats as he had 5 INTS on the year, two returned for a score and is QO’s all time leader in interceptions. There is a lot to like in Aydan’s play style and skill set that will translate very nicely to Big Ten play.

West is a familiar name and is emerging as one of the best DB’s in the class of 2025 in the state. Most recently West landed an offer from the University of Pittsburg giving him a total of 7 power five offers. This season Aydan showed that he can make an impact anywhere in the defensive backfield. He had a few interceptions from both cornerback and safety positions. This is Aydan’s second year in a row making the all-county team, expect him to have an even more impressive senior season, he has been consistently improving since hitting the scene in 2021.

West took the biggest leap out of all DB’s, maybe overall in the class of 2025. He is having a monster sophomore season compared to his freshmen year at Good Counsel. West ended the regular season with 5 INTs, and a mixture a great coverage and solid tackling shown in his film. He is a young, very talented puzzle piece of this dominant Quince Orchard defensive secondary with an intriguing upside. West landed his first D1 offer from Boston College Recently expect to see him climb up recruiting board as he grows in his role in the QO program.
