About Ki’Marree
Expert Analysis
Dom Skene | Prep Redzone Scout
Washington has excellent balance that allows him to turn without losing speed. He runs north-south and is efficient with his time in space, but is nimble and shifty enough to bounce a run outside. He’s patient in the backfield and explodes through the line as the play develops. His size and vision work well in tandem, as he slips between flat-footed defenders and is off to the races quickly if they dare go for his ankles. This season, he amassed 110.4 yards per game and 9.7 yards per carry, leading Lakes to a 6-3 record.

Ki’Marree is one of my favorite running backs to watch on the field. Lakes HS had a big 50-23 win over 4A Kentwood HS, lead by two-headed running back machine Washington and Leo Pulalasi Leo Pulalasi 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Lakes | 2023 State WA . Despite Ki’Marree sharing carries with BYU commit Pulalasi, he managed to run for 158 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 13 rushing attempts. Washington showed great patience when attacking the holes. When he did, he hit the holes FAST, which was the key to his great performance. He was impossible to take down all night long, breaking tackles every carry he had. His elusiveness is as good as any other running back in the state, as it seemed like he had another switch when he saw green ahead of him. Keep an eye on this deadly Lakes RB duo all season long.
