Nance will go down as one of the winningest quarterbacks in North Carolina history and his injury in the state semifinals this year will b a huge “what if?” Still, he threw for nearly 5,000 yards and 60 touchdowns, adding 4,364 yards and 81 touchdowns on the ground. If my math is correct, that makes him tenth in state history with 141 career touchdowns. He improved greatly as a passer as a senior and is one of the highest-ranked uncommitted players in the class.

DeAndre was named the 3a East Offensive Player of the Game. Nance came into the game hobbled with an apparent knee injury but gutted it out and lead his Falcons to 7-7 tie at halftime after initially not starting the game at all. 71st had two three and out drives before inserting Dre into the game and they got their first first down of the day and on his second possession he scored. Nance finishes his career with a 55-4 win/loss record as a starting quarterback.

doesn’t have on his high school football resume is a state championship. Entering the game, Nance has 140 total touchdowns and almost 10,000 total yards. The most telling stat Dre has to show his true dominance is wins and loses. 56-3 sounds impossible but is Nance’s record these past 4 seasons. This will be Dre’s 60th football game in 4 seasons, regardless the outcome this will be one of the greatest careers in Cumberland County history.

DeAndre got the party started Friday night; he ripped off a 50-yard touchdown and made several pivotal 3rd down conversions. Nance only needed 9 carries to get over 100+yards scoring 2 touchdowns in the 48-7 4th round win. Nance will be starting in his 4th eastern regional game this Friday night against Jacksonville.

The undeniable leader of this 71st 4-year dominance on the offensive side is Nance. DeAndre has had one of the greatest statical careers in Cumberland County history and he will be the biggest reason behind if his and his fellow Falcons season continues tonight. Dre has been literally knocking teams out in the 1st half the entire season with his break tackle ability combined with his size and speed. Nance also has the ability to beat you through the air but rarely has he needed to. Tonight, may be the night that he has to.

Nance was his usual remarkable self, scoring 4 touchdowns (2 passing and 2 rushing). DeAndre scored his first score on a 54-yard rush, right after the Falcons defense got the ball back after a 4th down stop. After another stop, Nance found sophomore sensation

DeAndre and another monster but efficient game against Rocky Mount last Friday Night. The Senior went 11-13 for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns passing and combined that with 69 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. Nance is closing in on 40 total touchdowns on the year

DeAndre put on a show against Cape Fear, accounting for 6 touchdowns in a huge 43-3 victory. Each of the Nances touchdowns felt like Homeruns or haymakers, especially being the visitors. The Super Senior took the revved-up Colts fans spirit away early in the first quarter and continued in the second. Nance has had one of the more legendary careers in terms of Cumberland County or even North Carolina athletes and this may have been his best performances (especially considering the opponent). I think we have grown accustomed to his success and have taken him for granted. No matter how you slice it,

Nance jumped over 25 spots from the 77th overall prospect in the state. He has a couple of FCS and a Group of Five offer, but his athleticism gives him a high floor at the next level, so much so that I consider him a borderline Power Four guy. Nance’s athleticism and rushing ability are unmatched among quarterbacks in the state, but his accuracy has steadily progressed over the last year.
