Luke Kosko Luke Kosko 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Thomas Jefferson | 2025 State PA is a natural thrower of the football. The Cincinnati baseball commit can make all the throws in the pocket. He has a big arm and shows it off with the play he throws the ball all over the field. He has good mechanics and footwork in the pocket. He moves well and shows off excellent pocket presence by manipulating the defense when he gets pressure. Kosko is a legit quarterback for Thomas Jefferson and he will need to play at a high level if they will win the WPIAL Title.

Luke Kosko is your prototypical quarterback at 6-foot-4 and 205-pounds, there’s a lot to like about his frame and how he projects to the next level from a physical standpoint. Traditional drop-back passer who shows off very good arm strength with a mostly effortless delivery. Easily has the ability to chuck the pigskin 40-50 yards downfield. Shows good accuracy and the ability to put the ball into tight windows throughout the field, consistently has a nice touch on his passes, especially when throwing with anticipation. His junior film also shows the ability for him to extend plays with his legs and throw on the run. Routinely shows off a good feel and vision of the field, keeps his eyes downfield to find an open man. Nice tight spiral though will have a few wobbles here and there. Overall, a very promising quarterback with considerable upside. He definitely has the talent to play at the FCS level and could even catch the attention of some Group 5 programs this offseason or next fall with another strong senior season.

Starting this list off with 2025 Thomas Jefferson QB Luke Kosko Luke Kosko 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Thomas Jefferson | 2025 State PA . Luke currently holds offers from Marshall and Charlotte. At 6’4/205 he is the size of a FBS Quarterback. Number 12 has a cannon. He can let it loose 50+ yards! You’ll see it on his tape. You aren’t going to get a Dual-Threat with Kosko, but you do have somebody who can keep his eyes downfield while extending the play. This allows his receivers create more space. I like his ability to put the ball deep and outside the numbers. He has great touch and full control of where the ball is going! FBS programs are keeping a close eye on Kosko. Penn State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia have all had him on campus.
Here’s what our NE Regional Scouting Director Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA had to say about Kosko. “I’d imagine it’s the Kosko show moving forward. A full year of consistent play, with no time on the sideline, could be all we need to see to get him inside the top 100. I think the young man is capable, he was once inside our Top 50. He isn’t that far off. I’m expecting big things moving forward.”

is likely the candidate to be named first behind the Saunders and Zollers. A couple of reasons why. First, athletic ceiling and profile are arguably the best among the four mentioned QBs. 6’4, 210, you can make an easy case that Kosko carries the most impressive build in this class. A second reason, his upside. Kosko, because of his arm talent, matched with his frame. We know Kosko garnered early attention out of Marshall and Charlotte back when he was stationed at Seton LaSalle. He’s an easy sell to potential FBS suitors. One thing stands in his way, substantial tape and production.

impressed me more in live-action, I value what I see in person. I’m unsure of the QB situation at TJ with Evans moving on, I’d imagine it’s the Kosko show moving forward. A full year of consistent play, with no time on the sideline, could be all we need to see to get him inside the top 100. I think the young man is capable, he was once inside our Top 50. He isn’t that far off. I’m expecting big things moving forward.

Luke Kosko Luke Kosko 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Thomas Jefferson | 2025 State PA hops on and off our rankings for the same reason. He has no sophomore tape. Usually, we never rank kids without tape, which is why Kosko has seen himself placed on WL time and time again. Now, he ranks inside the top five, what changed? Recruitment, college coaches vouching for the kid, has swayed me enough to give him a spot on our lists. Very early in 2022, Kosko made news after announcing he received a G5 offer out of Marshall. A year later, he added to his list an offer out of UNC Charlotte. Two meaningful offers to the 6’4, 210-pound passer, formerly out of Seton La Salle. Now at Thomas Jefferson, Kosko will presumably produce an undeniable tape that will further validate this ranking. Hopefully, the last update will be the last time Kosko will end up on WL.

Luke definitely has an FBS skillset that I witnessed first hand. Kosko has a big-league arm and can make all the throws. He completed a lot of difficult passes during 7-on-7s and one-on-ones. He definitely has the size at 6’4 and the arm strength to be a high-volume passer. Kosko received his first offer back in January.
