He played all over the field for Thomas Jefferson. I saw him line up as an outside linebacker, deep safety, and even a few snaps as an edge defender. At all 3 positions, he can make plays at all 3 levels. As an outside linebacker and safety, he is excellent at playing in space and making plays on the ball when thrown in his direction. His athleticism and lateral quickness are great. Then, on offense, he was a big-play wide receiver. He can create separation because of his speed. He then catches the ball well in front of defenders on tough matchups. Eggerton is an impressive athlete in the 2027 class.

His ability to play back as a free safety for one play and then come upfield and play as an outside linebacker for the next play is impressive. At both positions, he did a great job of reading the play and then making the right read to help stop the offensive play. He is also a ball hawk as he is able to chase plays all over the field and intercept passes or knock them down. Eggerton is a highly rated defender who is a difference maker as well. I am excited to see how he performs this season.

His ability to read and react to the play and then make plays against the offense is excellent. Then, Eggerton has good ball skills, and he can get his hands on the ball when it is thrown his way. Eggerton is a good prospect who is a matchup piece on defense.

He is good at coverage and playing deep, but also comes up-field and makes tackles in the open field. Eggerton is a good player in the 2027 class, who makes a ton of plays all over the field.
