Starting this list off with 2025 Thomas Jefferson QB Luke Kosko Luke Kosko 6’4″ | 210 lbs | QB Thomas Jefferson | 2025 State PA . Luke currently holds offers from Marshall and Charlotte. At 6’4/205 he is the size of a FBS Quarterback. Number 12 has a cannon. He can let it loose 50+ yards! You’ll see it on his tape. You aren’t going to get a Dual-Threat with Kosko, but you do have somebody who can keep his eyes downfield while extending the play. This allows his receivers create more space. I like his ability to put the ball deep and outside the numbers. He has great touch and full control of where the ball is going! FBS programs are keeping a close eye on Kosko. Penn State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia have all had him on campus.
Here’s what our NE Regional Scouting Director Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA had to say about Kosko. “I’d imagine it’s the Kosko show moving forward. A full year of consistent play, with no time on the sideline, could be all we need to see to get him inside the top 100. I think the young man is capable, he was once inside our Top 50. He isn’t that far off. I’m expecting big things moving forward.”
Next up on this list, we have Marques Council Jr. Marques Council Jr. 6’2″ | 175 lbs | QB Aliquippa | 2026 State PA Council is a 6’3/170 2026 QB out of Aliquippa. This is the first true dual-threat Quarterback on this list. He is comfortable running the read option and can execute it extremely well. As a runner, Marques can make you miss with his great ability to read blockers, and his elusiveness in the open field. He puts a lot of zip on the ball. This helps him make tight throws in small windows. His timing is really good on his catch-and-rip concepts. Council was limited in reps with Goode being the starter at Aliquippa. With a full season of film under his belt next season, I think coaches will start to pick up on this kid. He will compete at any level and has the grades to go play in the IVYs. I’m excited to see how this prospect develops over the next couple of years. I think he could rise into at least the top 75 with a good season!
Highlights
Here is 2026 QB Cameron Walter Cameron Walter 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Woodland Hills | 2026 State PA out of Woodland Hills. The first thing I want to mention is that Cameron is a 3 sport athlete. He plays basketball and is an All-American baseball player. Walter is an athletically gifted kid, as well as academically with a 3.8 posted GPA. He has a good presence in the pocket even with being on the smaller side for QBs. This is a kid that plays above his measurable’s. He makes very few mistakes only giving the ball away 3 times this past season. I love seeing him make throws on the run. He looks best in his own element. I’m sure as he continues to develop his recruitment will only take off.
Here’s what our NE Regional Scouting Director Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA had to say about Walter. “One of my favorite tapes to watch. Put aside recruiting, put aside measurable’s, put aside the hype, Cameron Walter Cameron Walter 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Woodland Hills | 2026 State PA ‘s freshman tape stacks up well against some seniors and juniors in the state.”
Coming in at 6’5/185 lbs we have Bethel Park’s 2025 QB Tanner Pfeuffer. This is a Quarterback who loves to push the rock downfield. He slings it with confidence when looking downfield. Tanner can make a throw under any circumstance. Whether he is taking a hit, scrambling, or just sitting in the pocket. Keeping his eyes downfield is what helps him when under pressure because he does a really good job at that he can extend plays. I really like how well he times up his routes too! He has been seeing some attention in the recruiting world. Recently visited Miami (Ohio) and Akron. With a great Senior season, I think Pfeuffer could climb our rankings. He was recently ranked as the #159 player in the ’25 class.
Elizabeth Forward has a guy in Ryan Messina Ryan Messina 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Elizabeth Forward | 2026 State PA ! The 2026 QB has already shown he can play well against anybody in the state! In their only loss of the regular season to eventually state champion Belle Vernon Ryan threw for 219 yards, and a touchdown with a 58% completion percentage. He stays true to the saying “Take what the defense gives you.” He isn’t the fastest runner, but if a lane opens up he will not hesitate to take the free yards handed to him. I like that he creates time for himself in the pocket, and is always aware of where he is. Messina has great touch on all his throws. He can make every throw on the field. There is serious arm strength in his game. When he decides to go to the intermediate and short game he picks defenses apart with his ability to put the ball where he pleases. With a reported 4.0 GPA I wouldn’t be surprised if higher academic institutions started to pick up on Messina.
This is a prospect that I could not leave off this list. The 4 sport athlete Matt Sieg Matt Sieg 6’0″ | 175 lbs | ATH Fort Cherry | 2026 State PA out of Fort Cherry is a guy already gaining the attention of multiple Division 1 programs. To name a couple of his offers Penn State, West Virginia, Syracuse, Pitt, Nebraska. The 6’0/175 lb ATH has one of my favorite highlight tapes to watch. This kid is the definition of versatile. Playing QB, Safety, and returning kicks for Fort Cherry. His Sophomore year tape is 20 minutes long. I guess that’s what it comes out to when you put up over 4,000 all-purpose yards, and 60 touchdowns in a season. Matt has some wheels with his reported 4.42 40-yard dash. He was the first player in WPIAL history to run and throw for over 1,00 yards in a single season. Sieg has a good arm and can make solid throws, but I’m excited to see where he ends up playing at the next level. He’s an intriguing prospect that coaches need to know about if they don’t already.
