Cayden McGhee is a talented RB from Clay Chalkville who’s heading into a huge final season this upcoming fall.
“McGhee is physical in between the tackles. He has a low center of gravity and runs hard, withstanding contact and breaking through defenders to grind out gains on the ground.
McGhee’s best traits are his patience and elusiveness. He’s great at seeing the field and follows his blockers to gain as many yards as possible and has the twitch to completely shake defenders by juking and changing his direction. There’s a ton to like with McGhee’s game- I think he’s going to have a massive year as the lead back for Clay.”

McGhee is an elusive runner with advanced foot quickness and outstanding body control. His ability to change direction without gearing down allows him to create positive plays even when the initial design breaks down. This ability also creates stress in the open field.
His sharpest weapon is the jump-cut. His navigational instinct and burst exploit bad pursuit angles and create creases while getting out of trouble. Mcghee’s comfort maneuvering through traffic stands out. While slipping through narrow creases and turning potential losses into solid gains he’s routinely finding ways to maximize plays .His creativity, balance, and burst makes him a difficult player to square up and a potential climb in the rankings.
