PRZNY Exposure Series: RB Notes I

Epps was one of the quickest players in attendance finishing with a 4.84 40-Time in wet conditions which ranked 4th. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Epps shows the ability to play on both sides of the ball, and I like his frame, standing at 5'11" 195-Pounds. He was excellent in reps, and showed quick footwork, and the ability to move around with ease. In 1v1 reps, he was a threat, making sharp cuts, and showcasing good routes, to rack in catches showing his ability as a pass catcher as well. The Section Two Ballston Spa Prospect, was another player who showed elite speed in Warwick, with a 4.81 40-Yard Time, ranking third in the tricky conditions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nazarian has a solid frame for a RB, and at the moment it gives him versatility and shows the ability to play WR, and DB if needed. He could add some more muscle to make him a more physical back, but had excellent footwork, and showed a quick burst. He was a newer name to me, and like the players above showcased some elite speed, with a 4.85-40 Time, which ranked him tied for 7th in Warwick. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Torio was on the smaller side for a RB, but he is a quick athlete, who showcased elite feet and can move around well in space. He made a few good catches which I liked during the 1v1 potion, and is the definition of athletic. In space he moves really well, and can cover a ton of distance in a short time. The FDR playmaker had a slower 40-time due to the conditions, but put together an impressive Pro Shuttle time with a 4.50. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Amaro Jr is a shifty back, and he weathered the storm this past weekend showcasing good speed, and ability to make jump cuts. He has a quick burst, which allows him to get out of jump cuts with ease. The CBA-Albany prospect made the two hour drive down to Warwick to compete, where I was impressed with him despite the conditions last weekend. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Barrow had an excellent combine portion, ranking in the top 15 of each drill, and having the 2nd best broad jump at 9'5" which is impressive for a prospect in the 2029 Class. He has an outstanding build, and could even play DB and WR, with his long arms. he cuts well, and showcased good speed out of his cuts. I liked his footwork, on reps. In 1v1 reps he should look to improve his route running and gain more separation on his reps to allow for more YAC on his catches.
