Barrow was a first time attendee and is a player in the 2029 Class who should consistently have eyes on him. The CBA-Albany prospect made the two hour drive down to Warwick to compete, where I was impressed with him despite the conditions last weekend.
Barrow had an excellent combine portion, ranking in the top 15 of each drill, and having the 2nd best broad jump at 9’5″ which is impressive for a prospect in the 2029 Class. He has an outstanding build, and could even play DB and WR, with his long arms. he cuts well, and showcased good speed out of his cuts. I liked his footwork, on reps. In 1v1 reps he should look to improve his route running and gain more separation on his reps to allow for more YAC on his catches. A very impressive prospect I enjoyed watching in Warwick.

Barrow has a perfect build for an athlete. Longer arms, big legs. Chest looks built. Would love to see him get a bit more wiggle in his game. Had some good reps in the receiving game. Something that stood out to me was he was consistently the first runningback to participate in a drill, and walked through them with the coach a lot despite him being very young. Even if he doesn’t end up playing running back his athleticism ensures he’ll be a good football player.

For Tyrone Barrow to make an impact on the varsity field he must become more coachable. Still yet to complete his freshman year of high school, Barrow kept dragging his toes and feet on the tuft. His position coach told him once and explained that he could potentially get turf toe; but then sternly reminded him once more when he repeated the bad habit. That said, Barrow did show. burst of speed out of the gate.
