2027 Rankings: Top 50 Risers

We revised the 2027 Rankings and in this edition, we cover the risers in the top 50. Let's dive in!    Peyton climbs into the top five in our latest revised rankings. He is an excellent two-way player. As a deep safety, he shows excellent range and has good closing speed. He moves well laterally, and his hip fluidity allows him to navigate anywhere on the field at full speed. As a receiver, he has a good release package and excellent footwork. He wins at all three levels and does well high-pointing the ball and being strong at the catch point. He moves well with the ball in his hands and does well creating after the catch. He'll garner additional Power-4 offers.     Kemper takes a massive jump in the revised rankings and climbs 40 spots, and is inside the top 20. He's made significant strides in the offseason and is a defensive lineman who has added good weight. He moves well, has good physicality, and violent hands. He has a good burst, and he's been a player who's stood out defensively each week and shows good traits for the next level. He'll get Power-Four looks.     Cam climbs nine spots and is a receiver with exceptional traits. He wins at all three levels and does well with the ball in his hands. He creates and has good vision. Cam does well with vertical routes and has little to no wasted movement. He has good speed and is a player with good hip fluidity.     Brody jumps over 60 spots and is an exciting prospect. He's an active backer who does well attacking and dropping back in coverage. He is an athletic mover who does well shedding his blocks and pressing forward. He has good instincts and is a backer who does well weaving his way through traffic. He'll get plenty of D1 offers. He's a riser.     Xavier has been exceptional. He's a dual-threat quarterback with good size on him. He is a power runner with good physicality. As a passer, he has a quick delivery, gets to his second read, and throws a good deep ball. His ball placement is good, he keeps the ball out of danger, and he is a quick processor.     Jaxon has made exceptional strides since the spring. He's a much more confident player. He is riding that momentum and that confidence has allowed him to throw it in tight windows, and he trusts his eyes. Early on in the season, he needed to see the play already developed and the receiver already open before throwing it; now he's showing good anticipation and throwing receivers open and operating within the system. He has made significant strides, and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season unfolds.     Kava has been an exciting two way prospect but his home will be as a defensive back. He has good instincts and is a playmaker on that side of the ball. He has a good range, displays good speed, and is a player who has good quickness and overall athletic traits. He closes ground well and will make a play on the ball. He'll pick up offers at all levels regionally.     Gordon climbs 20 spots in the most recent rankings revision. He has excellent size and is a receiver who wins at all levels. He does well winning and getting vertical. He tracks the ball well, is strong at the catch point, and is a receiver who does well creating after the catch. He'll get D1 offers and is a G5-level prospect with a ceiling of fringe P4 level.     Malik nearly climbs 40 spots. He was already a player who caught the eye before the season even started. He is a player who does well winning vertically and creates after the catch. He shows good speed and has natural instincts and a feel for the game. Plenty of traits to like.     Brooks is the best offensive weapon for Maple Mountain. He's the key player, and opposing defenses know this, and Brooks still finds ways to get open and get the well-deserved target. He has good speed, wins at all levels, and is a player who has strong hands and creates exceptionally well after the catch.     Manase has excellent size, and he is a player with a good frame to add 20+ lbs, which will only make him a better player. He has a good bend for a player his size and has active, violent hands. His home will eventually be inside, but he is doing exceptionally well as an EDGE rusher this year. He has plenty of traits to like and will garner multiple D1 offers.
