Malik is an exceptional athlete and is a raw prospect who doesn’t have a lot of experience at not only the wide receiver position but in football in general. He is a springy athlete and is an instinctual player. With a full offseason, he’ll come in with a better feel for the game, and he will be a P4 recruit. Huge upside. He’s someone who can go get any jump ball, tracks the ball well, has strong hands, and creates after the catch. He shows good physicality and is someone who will only get better. He’s an athletic freak.

Malik finishes the year as the 32nd-ranked prospect in the state and the WR4 in the class. If it wasn’t for our offseason evaluation, he would have likely been the biggest riser, but having the pulse in the state, he debuted in the 70s for his. He more than lived up to the expectations we had prior to the start of the season. He’s still a raw athlete who will continue to get refinement, and with that, we should see a better overall route runner. What he did this season was based on raw ability.

Malik nearly climbs 40 spots. He was already a player who caught the eye before the season even started. He is a player who does well winning vertically and creates after the catch. He shows good speed and has natural instincts and a feel for the game. Plenty of traits to like.

Sika has a basketball background and is fairly new to the WR position. He has plenty of room to grow, and he uses his athleticism to win. He has a good feel for the game, knows where to sit in zone coverages and will go get the ball. He is good at ball-tracking and high pointing the ball. Even with his rawness, he debuted at 81 in our final preseason rankings for the 2027 class. He has an exceptional ceiling and is still refining his craft.

We caught wind of him early on in the offseason, and his athletic traits. Which is why he landed as the WR11 and the 82nd-ranked prospect for the 2027 class before taking a single snap on the football field. He’s a springy and twitchy athlete who makes the position easy, see ball, get ball. He wins at all three levels and, as a deep threat, is deadly. He’ll only get better with every game.

There was a lot to like about Malik before he took a single varsity snap. He is an uber-athletic player who is twitchy and springy, and was one of the main reasons he ended up as our 82nd-ranked prospect in our final offseason ranking for the 2027 class and the WR11 before taking a single varsity snap. He’s living up to the expectations we put on him, and he’s a player who will only continue to get better. He’s still getting better with every practice and every game. His ceiling is immense.

Sika is perhaps the player with the highest ceiling of anyone on the team. He’s a basketball player who is converting to football. He has good athletic traits, moves well, and is athletically gifted enough to make the transition. The receiving room is in a transition period, and Sika has every shot at being a key playmaker this year.

Sika has a tremendous ceiling. He’s primarily a basketball player who will now also contribute on the football field. He possesses good traits and skills that can be effectively translated. Sika is a good athlete and has an explosive burst. With vacated targets and an upgrade at quarterback, Sika could benefit and become a riser in the rankings, and get looks in recruiting.
