Sizer doesn’t get nearly the recognition he deserves while playing on a front seven with multiple Power Four recruits. Still, Sizer is one of the team’s top pass-rushers, able to combine pass-rushing moves with excellent speed, bend, and a budding power profile to get after the quarterback. If I had to guess, I’d expect him to add a bit more weight and play as an undersized hybrid edge rusher, but he’s flashed the ability to drop into coverage, and he led the Wildcats in pass deflections last season (while playing both at the line and off the line of scrimmage).

Sizer plays a hybrid outside linebacker role for Millbrook, but he’s most comfortable rushing the passer off the edge, so we’ve ranked him here. He has an electric first step, which not only helps him as a pass rusher but also as a run stopper, as he’s able to get to gaps and wrap up ball carriers.

, edge/LB for Millbrook, showed why he’s considered an elite athlete. With his long arms and impressive range, Sizer can really run and close space in a hurry. He made several big-time tackles in the state championship that highlighted his rare size-and-speed combination — either pushing the pile backward or jarring the ball carrier loose on contact. Even in a tough night for Millbrook, Sizer’s physicality and effort stood out. A high-upside defender with the tools to be a major name on the recruiting trail.

We had Sizer slated to hit the back end of the rankings in this update, but I had the chance to see him scrimmage last week and made the last-minute decision to shoot him up the board to his current place just outside the top 100. He’s explosive off the edge, and if his preseason performance is any indication, he’s going to be a force, even if he’s coming off the bench.
