Our top newcomer in this update is Norman North’s Joshua Williams Joshua Williams LB Norman North | 2027 State OK and we have him slotted at linebacker even though when you throw on the tape, he is absolutely wrecking shop as an edge rusher on the line of scrimmage. When you’re talking about Williams as a high school football player, he is an absolutely dominant defensive end and it doesn’t take much time looking at the film to see just that. But when you’re talking about him as a prospect for the next level, he looks more like a linebacker and we don’t think that transition will be hard at all. He has a motor that doesn’t seem to slow down and he’s already on the radar of many programs.

Junior defensive lineman Joshua Williams Joshua Williams LB Norman North | 2027 State OK was a player that the Norman North coaches told us about this summer and as if on cue, he started picking up the attention of college coaches. Williams has started to pick up D1 offers and that isn’t going to slow down anytime soon. We are fired up to see what he looks like this season, coming off the edge for the Norman North defense. We mentioned earlier in the preview how the defense has a lot of young but talented prospects on that side of the ball and Williams leads the conversation from that perspective. If he can cause havoc on the line of scrimmage, Norman North has players behind him that will benefit.
