was receiving prior to watching his film; however, once I did watch tape I soon ascertained that the hype was not inflated what so ever. A prospect that is a true athlete, Lopez lines up in the defensive secondary and at receiver. On offense, the stutter move – a byproduct of his ability to run so well – is deployed to create separation, as well as elite ball-tracking skills that allow him to make one-handed grabs on arrant passes. Similarly, Lopez tracks the ball over his shoulder extremely well. He should work on only using his hands to catch the ball. As much prowess that Lopez showcases offensively, his penchant might just be on defense. To state it clearly, Lopez drive on the ball is elite – so much so that it as if the passes he is defending appear as though they were intended for him. As he closes in on the ball, Lopez is aggressive in playing and disrupting it. We see Lopez play bump-and-run, play off, and press with equal proficiency. Regarding his bump-and-run play, he uses his body well to claim his positioning, deny spots, and squeeze receivers to the sideline.

Jr. is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young two-way talents in New Jersey. At 6’1”, 160 pounds, the explosive athlete flashes significant upside at both cornerback and wide receiver.
