Archbishop Spalding’s defensive line made It tough for MSJ to do anything on offense and Williams was one of the main reasons why. I don’t have official numbers, but I do know he had at least two sacks and a tackle. On one of his sacks, he beat the offensive tackle outside, avoided the block by the running back, and sacked the quarterback as soon as he tried to step up. On the other sack, he kept containment on the quarterback who try to beat him to scramble outside of him on a passing play, and end up sacking him. He’s strong at the point of attack and gives no ground. Very solid effort.
