, of Red Bank Catholic. Banks as a superb get off and extends his hands immediately and shows flashes of coming out of his hips, resulting in offensive linemen getting knocked back. From there, we watch him as Banks snatches opponents to the ground. His best attribute is his quickness, as we see he has the athleticism at this stage in his career to run around/under blocks and make plays in the backfield. As a pass rusher, Banks matches the quarterback’s hands when he does not get home. Whether it is run or pass, Banks consistently wins 1v1 matchups when deployed in an odd front. Lastly, he wraps up very well when tackling. I think that Banks can stand to clean up his depth in the backfield in order to scrape backside better. That said, he is extremely disruptive in the middle of the defensive line.

was a creative pass rusher. He started his day by delivering a stutter move, which forced the offensive lineman to slow his feet, only for Banks to explode into his chest, dumping him on the floor. With an attacking mentality, he assaulted his matchups arms with violent chops. This chop also featured a cross-chop + dip that was absolutely masterful. Not lost amongst all the laterally-attacking ways, Banks showed that with a strong get off he is explosive enough to open the weak shoulder. Keying for movement, not sound, will prevent Banks from jumpin offsides.
