Colton Whish Colton Whish 6'0" | 160 lbs | WR Fort Collins | 2028 CO has shown out at a couple of our combines, and continues to impress. He has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, jumping, speed, and change of direction. Whish had a nice day during the 1 on 1 drills. Good release. Good separation due to play strength and fighting through contact. He has good adjusting to the ball in flight and very good body control. He showed off his very good catching and good ball tracking skills. He’d rip the ball out of the air.  Keep an eye on Whish going into the off season !

Whish excelled as a precise route runner, consistently creating separation during drills. His ability to press defenders vertically and quickly break into his routes kept defensive backs on their heels. He demonstrated a high football IQ, understanding how to exploit soft spots in coverage. Whish showed strong hands and a knack for making catches in stride, often turning short receptions into big gains. His speed and quickness were on full display, particularly during 3-vs-2 drills where he dominated. A young talent with impressive fundamentals, Whish is poised for a breakout season.

The 6’0 160-pound Whish was cool calm and collected throughout the event. I was impressed with his ability not to get rattled, especially during the 1 on 1 drills. These defensive backs were very scrappy and physical against the wide receivers. Whish stood up to the challenge and thrived against the press jam. Good release. He has good athletic ability due to good speed, acceleration, jumping, and very good change of direction. He fought through contact on the route, making himself open. Whish has good separation quickness due to play strength and mental processing. He showcased good ball tracking skills and good catching. Fort Collins has a blooming possession receiver on their roster.
