This kid looked way bigger than his listed size. He was much stronger than a lot of the other prospects and showed good footwork in pass blocking drills. He could be a great stopper on the outside this season for Herriman. Someone that could be moving up in the ranking with a couple stellar games.

Aiono has great size and moves well. He has a quick first step, has good hands, and will be part of the Herriman line that will try to leave an imprint on the season. Aiono is best as a blindside tackle and does well with speedy rushers and holds up to bull rushers. A great season for him is coming.

Aiono possesses a good size and frame for an Offensive Tackle, and he moves exceptionally well. He showcases a good first step, good quickness to be effective in screens, and in the pulling game. Aiono shows good footwork and moves much lighter than his frame would suggest. He easily gets to the second level when pulling and looks for additional contact. Aiono is a physical and strong lineman with a nasty streak to him. He is a player who will get regionally recruited and has a great upside.

Aiono plays the offensive tackle position along the Mustang’s offensive line. Shows explosion as a run blocker with leg drive and brings his feet. Ability to pull and trap block. Make blocks in the open field. Quickness to set base, hands to punch and sustain feet in pass protection. Expect Aiono to make big strides going into next season as he will face some tough defensive line competition in the 6A class.
