As if they rose from the ashes like the Phoenix, there are prospects who seemingly come out of the woodwork. What differentiates this set of prospects from the rest is that from the ashes of the watchlist, they rose and are here to stay. Below are a handful of prospects that were watchlisted and, immediately upon film review, shot toward the top of our rankings for the class of 2026.

Coming from Cedar Creek, [player_tooltip player_id='402188' first='Aamir' last='Dunbar'] is another, and perhaps the best yet, talent from the stream of talented prospects that have branched off from the creek into college. Dunbar clearly has the speed to beat linebackers to the sideline in order to gain serious yardage. Running with a slight forward lean at times, Dunbar is able to lower his pads into a high-tackling defender's chest. An interesting characteristic in how he totes the rock, we see him typically follow his blockers; however, if they are not fast enough or he sees something else he has the balance to cut upfield or cut against the grain for good yardage. Dunbar has already secured a scholarship offer from Temple.

A player that I recall last year opening week 0 with an exclamation point, having a two-pick game, [player_tooltip player_id='971281' first='Callum' last='Fynes'] best football is likely still ahead of him. Ranked as an athlete, Fynes can play college football on either side of the ball. As a safety, we see that he gets a real good jump on passes due to his tendency to follow the quarterback's eyes and fast, fluid backpedal. As a receiver, he understands the ball is everything - often laying out to secure catches and catching with his hands. Fynes has also lined up at running back as a reliable outlet option in the passing game. Back to defense, we see that he high points the ball and clogs passing lanes well. When going down hill Fynes will tackle and wrap well. Lastly, he can cut upfield quickly and naturally with the ball in his hands and runs hard with it in his possession.

Winslow is becoming a highly recruited school within South Jersey, as [player_tooltip player_id='402199' first='Cayden' last='Gray'] adds to their ever-growing list of scholar athletes. With impressive offensive film, we see that Gray will punish people when pulling or down blocking. I would describe him as a mauler-type offensive lineman that kills defensive tackles when he blocks back. Gray possesses good leg drive and maintains inside leverage with his head when trapping, while demonstrating his upper body strength to finish his blocks. Gray's latest offer came from Pittsburgh.

An elite player, cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='402202' first='Cory' last='Davis'] plays in your face, bump-and-run coverage without fear of getting beat deep due to how quickly he backpedals. Davis had one clip that impressed me, where he jammed #1 very well, while having the eye discipline and skillset to read #2 and make a play by getting off of #1. Running stride-for-stride with everyone, Davis maintains extremely tight coverage that allows him to make plays on the ball. A remark I typically reserve for offensive talents, Davis has a clear and distinct second gear speed that he can achieve, making him comfortable trailing and making up ground, playing the ball from a trail technique, and a weapon off the edge against field goals. He gets his hands on, often, against his matchup, disrupting timing and being physical against receivers, and can turn his hips well to run.
