Markel makes his debut as the #12 overall DB in the class and should be part of a strong & deep DB room for GC this fall. Mainly used as a safety, he is a missile on the field and shows good athleticism and range. Markel moves well in space, can turn go and shows good instincts and ball skills. He is quick to accelerate out of breaks/COD and close on the ball to make a tackle or PBU. Markel currently holds one offer from Boston College and will be on plenty of colleges boards after the fall.
