Chaney is a tough cover corner with strong coverage skills and great use-of-hands. He isn’t afraid to be physical with receivers. He can cover and carry deep routes and displays good timing with his hands to break up passes.

River has garnered a good amount of attention over the past few months. Last season, he put up some solid highlights. Usually playing off-man, River does a solid job of staying on his man and breaking on the football when the ball comes his way. Though, once the ball is thrown his way, River sometimes gets a tad sloppy with his footwork and doesn’t explode toward the football like some of the better DBs in this class. Also, his overall footwork can be cleaned up, and I’d like to see some press-man reps. All in all, River is an athletic defensive back who projects as a good D3 college football player.
