A safety recruit to keep an eye on this summer comes from the State Champs, Racine St. Catherine’s. The junior put together a really solid 2024, showing off a well rounded game. The ’26 is a very reliable last line of defense. You can count on him to come downhill, square up 1 on 1 with a ball carrier, and bring them down in the open field. You can also count on him to close quickly from his deep safety position to limit the yards the RB gains on those runs. The junior safety also did well providing coverage over the top. He flashed his speed to the sideline and ball skills, making QBs think twice about going deep to his half of the field. This summer will be a great chance for him to show off where he is at when it comes to single coverage. Don’t sleep on this kid. He is already a three year varsity starter.
