Tia is one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 class around northern California, and is currently rated as a three-star prospect. He holds offers from Boston College and UNLV, and should see a slew of others come his way through his final prep season. He shows on film he can operate both under center and in shotgun, and is a very mobile and agile quarterback with good pocket movement and feels pressure well before stepping up or rolling out, and is a true threat to run if you give him a lane. Downfield, he has a nice deep ball with good air under it with a tight spin, and throws his receivers open while able to fit the ball into tight windows. A fast processor in the pocket, he quickly goes through his progressions, and is not afraid to complete passes underneath or across the middle of the field. Tia is a very under-rated runner and has elite escapability abilities. Look for the Senior signal caller to put up big time numbers in 2024 for what should be a physical and high powered Amador Valley offense.
Cahoon is one of the more faster rising ’26 prospects in the state as a linebacker, and is very athletic and fluid for the position with a strong build and fits the mold of a new age college backer. For only a Sophomore, he started on one of the top teams in northern California, and showed that he can both cover, and play violent in the box in the run game and has a relentless motor. He is quick to diagnose plays, triggers well in space and has elite closing speed in the backfield with also some pass rush abilities up the middle as well. He also flashes operating around the ball with a low hat, + COD abilities and shows smooth lateral movement while not afraid to go through blockers or bend around them without giving up ground. So far, he has racked up offers from SDSU, SJSU and UAB and he will be a no brainer 12+ offer kid by the time his career wraps up.
McDonald recently picked up his first offer from UNLV, and is the next great Bay Area athlete to come out of the region. He can play all over the field for the Lancers, and has elite ball skills downfield, top end long speed and shows high-point and tracking abilities when making contested catches. On tape, he shows he can line-up in the slot, outside or even the backfield and has good vision in tight windows, cutback ability and shows good body control upon contact and is a natural ball carrier that is always looking for extra yards. His unique ability to line up anywhere on the field makes him extremely dangerous, and will without a doubt be one of the top players in Norcal this Fall.
