Tia is one of the hottest quarterbacks still on the board in the entire state, and has seen his recruitment sky rocket in recent weeks. He is putting together a terrific Senior season for Amador Valley, and has recently picked up offers from Utah, Oregon state, Colorado State, and the University of Montana. Tia has been one of the more dynamic passers and true dual-threat quarterbacks across northern California for the past couple seasons, and had a very busy off-season pulling in offers from Boston College, NAU, Sacramento State, SJSU and UNLV. He got off to a terrific start to his Senior season passing for 277 yards and 1 TD, while completing over 65% of his passes downfield in this Amador Valley run heavy offense. Although taking a tough loss to a very talented and physical El Cerrito team, Amador Valley should once again be one of the top teams in the section this Fall.
