Spivey holds offers from Sac State and Utah, but I think that list is on the verge of growing and he’ll have a big opportunity in 2025. He comes from an athletic bloodline (brother of current Arizona WR Tre Spivey and son of former MLB player Junior Spivey), as his energy and competitive toughness speaks volumes. Disciplined eyes with excellent instincts with the ability to run stride for stride with WR’s downfield, or recognize runs, screens, or shallow crossers to react with a burst and a low pad level. He punches through the ball and shows a nice vert to leap up and force those PBU’s. A very well polished CB with a lot of upside moving forward.

The CB out of Hamilton continues to climb the rankings now at #33 overall and the sixth ranked DB prospect in the 2026 class. Has the ability to shutdown opposing teams top receiving threats with great coverage instincts and ball skills. Possesses excellent all around game speed and lateral quickness to match movement and stay in phase to all three levels. He’s quick to flip his hips and transition out with the burst to recover and close space with the ball in the air. Plus ball skills, he plays through the hands to break up passes at the catch point with good timing. Well coached, he’s precise and efficient with his footwork/technique to limit wasted movement. Just picked up his initial college offer from Utah and expect more to come his way as the recruiting cycle progresses.

2026 Defensive Back Kingtson Spivey is all business when it comes to locking down receivers on the defensive side of the ball. He is nimble yet incredible athletic at corner. A fluid athlete, able to twist and move his body around defenders for the pass deflections. The stats don’t lie, as he had 16 total tackles, 2 TFLs, and 6 pass deflections in his previous season while missing a few games. He is remarkable when playing through the wide receiver to the ball, being disruptive and aggressive but at the same time not drawing any penalties. His size does not limit him, as he can play against physically tall wide receivers or smaller fast receivers and still get the job done. Spivey heading into his junior year campaign aims to be a major contributor on the backend of this Hamilton Defense.

Spivey continues to grow and build on his strong foundational skillset now at 5’9” 160 lbs. Excellent cover corner with the speed and agility to match up with top tier receivers and maintain coverage at all three depths. Excels in both press and off coverage, using his natural instincts and anticipation to run the route the route with receivers to stay in phase. His transitions are smooth, allowing him to accelerate quickly out of his breaks and close the gap when the ball is in the air. Plays the ball well at the catch point with good timing and ball skills to break up passes effectively. Very efficient and savvy with his footwork and technique throughout the play. Strong open field tackler that breaks down and wraps up in space. Good genes, broth Tre was a top recruit and currently a WR at Kansas State.
