Wilbert represents not just a talented get for the Eagles, but also a massive recruiting win. The competition was stiff here, and with good reason. Wilbert has been on our radar for a while, and we love the production from his interior defensive line spot. He started for two years at Wake Forest, putting up over 25 tackles for loss and seven sacks. Then he moved to Millbrook for a wildly productive junior season. He’s not as much a space-eater as he is a slasher with violent hands and plenty of functional strength. I don’t think he’ll ever play near 300 pounds, but his strength and first-step work in tandem for the interior pass-rusher. Most of the time, guys with that profile take time to adjust in the running game, but Wilbert’s strength and considerable experience make him a candidate to play early.

Wilbert’s a guy we’ve had on the radar for a while, but he really put it all together during a breakout 2025 campaign. He racked up 16 tackles for loss and seven sacks, both best in the county among returning interior guys. He’s put on some good weight and carries that well, able to shoot gaps or hold up at the point of attack so his linebackers can clean up.
