The Stock Up Showcase tour made their stop in Texas on Sunday at Nolan Catholic in Fort Worth. We got a chance to see some outstanding players from North Texas and beyond. We’ll have a ton of coverage from the event, but in this post, we’re looking at the best of the best at each position. Some of these position groups were stacked and narrowing it down to one MVP was brutal. But these seven players were among the best in attendance on Sunday!
Allen 2025 quarterback Brady Bricker Brady Bricker 6’2″ | 205 lbs | QB Allen | 2025 TX walked away with the overall offensive MVP award and led a quarterback group that was absolutely loaded on Sunday. Picking one quarterback from this pack was absolutely tough. When you looked at the top guys at the position, there was no real answer. But Bricker was money from the start of the camp. He was putting the ball only where his receiver could get it and there were a handful of plays where the ball could only be placed in one spot and that’s where it was. And that didn’t matter what the route was, the distance or anything else. Time after time, Bricker put the ball where it needed to be and earned the recognition.
The last time our crew saw Lake Ridge 2027 running back Flander Malone Flander Malone 5’10” | 190 lbs | LB Lake Ridge | 2027 TX , he was finishing up his eighth grade year and was a linebacker at our April PRZ-Next camp. Malone walked away with the LB MVP award that day and he came back and was the most impressive running back at the camp on Sunday. Malone really impressed our writers when he was going through the individual drills with the way he moves and how fluid, quick and sudden he is with the ball in his hands. We came into this camp knowing that Malone was smooth and could move because that’s what we wrote about him as a linebacker last year. But he’s continued to elevate his game and it showed.
Highlights
The wide receiver position is in the same position as quarterback where it was just brutal to try and pick one player as the MVP. The wide receiver position was deep on Sunday but V.R. Eaton 2025 wideout Karsten Robinson Karsten Robinson 6’1″ | 185 lbs | WR Haslet Eaton | 2025 State TX stood out in a group of absolute ballers. Robinson had a really good camp and impressed just about every coach and writer that was in attendance. We had a lot of reps in the 1 on 1 portion of the camp and there were times when Robinson was thrown what would be considered a 50-50 ball with him and the DB. When it was Robinson, it felt like 60-40 or 70-30 that he was going to get it over the DB. Great hands, playmaking and so much more.

It’s hard not to be impressed when you watch Prosper 2026 offensive lineman Sean Stover Sean Stover 6’3″ | 280 lbs | OL Prosper | 2026 State TX go to work. Stover looks the part physically and one thing that really stood out to me when I watched Stover go through testing and the competition is his wingspan. Stover has some long arms that certainly helps him get his mitts on opposing defensive linemen and locked on to control them. It’s also easy to predict that Stover might not be done growing as a sophomore and he could still add a few more inches in the height department. Stover really impressed when going against defensive linemen and edged out some of the other big men for the OL MVP award.
Highlights
Cibolo Steele 2026 defensive lineman Julian Hugo Julian Hugo 6’4″ | 240 lbs | DL Cibolo Steele | 2026 State TX was announced as the overall defensive MVP following the camp and there was no doubt that he was going to be the DL MVP on this post. Hugo made the coaches second guess themselves during the 40-yard dash when he ran close to a 4.7 at 6’4 and well over 200 pounds. The big man was moving down the field and with that size and burst, that’s scary for opposing offensive linemen. And during that session where he was going against the OL, Hugo put on an absolute clinic. He got into the backfield time after time and used that rare blend of speed and power to do so. And the fact that he’s just a sophomore is scary.
Highlights
The linebacker position had to earn everything they received on Sunday. We had less than five linebackers come out and those guys put in work from start to finish. They were certainly outnumbered by the running backs and some of the other offensive skill players. Pearland sophomore linebacker Amari Wilks Amari Wilks 6’2″ | 230 lbs | DL Pearland | 2026 State TX did a very good job standing out in the group and ran away with the linebacker MVP award. He tested well and then did a great job of listening to our LB coach and executing on what he was coached. The athleticism stood out but so did his ability to react quickly to get in a position to make a play. And Wilks looks the part and has to really stand out with the pads on.
Highlights
Similar to the linebacker position, we didn’t see many defensive backs in attendance. Whenever you get into a camp dynamic, everyone wants to play offense and for every one defensive back, you’ll see at least ten wide receivers. Midway 2025 defensive back Landon Whisenton Landon Whisenton 6’1″ | 180 lbs | DB Midway Highschool | 2025 State TX led the way and was the most consistent DB throughout Sunday. Despite only having a few guys at the position, this was a tough position to judge because all of the DBs felt like dogs throughout the day. Whisenton grabbed our attention very early on when he ran a 4.50 40 yard dash. Whisenton has good bend and overall athletic ability and that was showcased Sunday.
