A new addition to the Nitro program coming over from Herbert Hoover for his senior year is 2025 WR/DB Avery Pannell Avery Pannell 5'9" | 185 lbs | ATH Nitro | 2025 State WV . He should be a big help on both sides of the ball and another playmaker for Moody to spread the ball to. Pannell will fight right into their offense in the slot as a quick and shifty pass catcher with YAC ability. He can be a playmaker at all three levels of the passing game and is versatile with how he can be used. Pannell has the potential to help the Wildcats on defense too as a DB with linebacker experience in the past as well.

He should have a lot of opportunities to showcase his talent in an offense that likes to throw the ball all over the field, and Pannell could see his stock rise as a senior.

Another addition to the 2025 rankings from the Watch List who got his junior highlights posted since our winter update is Herbert Hoover’s Avery Pannell Avery Pannell 5'9" | 185 lbs | ATH Nitro | 2025 State WV . He was another recent Watch List prospect that we spotlighted and said he’s likely a Top 100 prospect in the class and sure enough, he debuts at #98 and the #16 WR. The 2025 receiver class is a deep one, but there’s some room for him to potentially climb higher with another strong season for his senior year. The 5’9 185 Pannell is your typical quick and shifty slot receiver who showed a great burst and release last season as a junior. He has very good after-the-catch ability as well and can get behind secondaries consistently on vertical passes. Pannell is primed for a breakout senior year and should have a great connection with top-ranked 2025 QB/ATH Dane Hatfield Dane Hatfield 6'4" | 185 lbs | ATH Herbert Hoover | 2025 State WV for the Huskies.

A 2025 WR on the Watch List who could eventually rank inside our Top 100 in the future is Herbert Hoover’s Avery Pannell Avery Pannell 5'9" | 185 lbs | ATH Nitro | 2025 State WV . The 5’9 185 receiver posted his highlights after we last updated our 2025 rankings or he may have already been ranked highly. Pannell plays wideout and in the slot in high school but will most likely play purely slot at the next level. He has a quick release off of the line with next-level speed and overall quickness to be a big play threat for the Huskies. Pannell can beat defenses over the top with his speed or work inside at short and intermediate depth with YAC ability. He’s someone who can also consistently beat man coverage especially when lined up in the slot. Pannell is primed for a huge senior season and is someone who should see their stock rise in both our rankings and recruiting-wise.
