Max Reitan Max Reitan 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB Rampart | 2025 CO (2025) from Rampart exploded onto the radar during the showcase and took home the MVP award for the defensive back position group, but there were a lot more standout players in attendance.
This article will examine seven attendees who stood out during the Stock Up Showcase.
rnHill is a prospect who looks like an absolute specimen and plays like a top-tier athlete. His scores from the combine were very impressive, clocking 4.71s and 4.68s in his 40-yard dash, 4.71 and 4.55 in his shuttle, and reaching 9’8” and 9’1” during the broad jump.
rnWhat makes Hill a big-time prospect is his ability to remain consistent with his performances. He passes the eye test, puts up solid numbers, looks good during drills, and hawks the field while locking down receivers during competitions. Hill’s athleticism, size, and instincts make him a no-brainer for colleges looking to add a defensive back who can play at every level in the secondary.
Highlights
Aukland is a safety who should be at the top of the invite lists for a lot of the schools that recruit in the area. He looked good during the combine, but his performance during the competition is when he really set himself apart from the group. His versatility allows him to play well when covering over the top, playing underneath coverage, or running in man against the receiver. Auckland’s performance at the event showed why he played such a significant role for Legend this year.
Highlights
Rogelstad is on the verge of becoming a sought-after prospect. He is an explosive athlete who clocked a 4.6s and a 4.65s during his 40-yard dash. His speed and physicality make him a legitimate option to cover the slot, play as a single-high safety, or be tasked with locking a particular receiver. Rolgelstad is gaining traction as a young prospect, making his junior campaign one to watch.
Highlights
Bishop is another player who is no stranger to the radar for the same reasons that made him a standout during the showcase. His ability to read the field, identify and break down route patterns, and make a play on the ball put him in a category with the younger players worth investing in early. Bishop has a high ceiling as a well-rounded safety who is on the verge of having a breakout year.
Bernizoni is a player who first popped up on the radar at the previous showcase earlier in the year. His performance at this event showed that he has been developing his craft, sharpening his skills, and raising his stock as a young prospect. His ability to use his instincts to see routes and pick up receivers helps him cover over the top and make plays on the ball. Bernizoni is the type of player who shows up to put in work on every rep, giving him significant potential as a prospect.
Cole is a young newcomer who stood out early during the combine because of his explosive acceleration and quickness. He has a smooth backpedal and does a fantastic job maintaining a low pad level. His reps during the competition drills did not disappoint. His skills and technique are on track for him to be another playmaking defensive back to come out of Colorado. Cole’s motor and athleticism made him stand out during the showcase, earning him early stock value as a potential recruit.
Zajac made the trip from New Mexico and had a solid performance on the day. He stood out during the competition drills because of his scrappiness and ability to disrupt passes. His ability to scan the field and break on the ball shows his awareness, instincts, and quickness. Zajac’s physicality and explosiveness make him a recruit with the potential to become an early special teams contributor.
