Off-Season Warriors: 2027 Kickers Looking to Shine

Hayward measures in at 5'11 165-pounds playing RB/S/K. He's a three-sport athlete, playing track as well as basketball. He had 56 carries for 430 yards with 6 touchdowns, 6 receptions for 141 yards with 1 touchdown, 46 total tackles (28 solo, 18 assisted), 2 TFL, 2 INT, 2 PD, 1 FR, 67 kickoffs for 3344 yards, 12 touchbacks, 40/45 on PAT, 6/6 on FGs, longest was 47 yards. Other than filling the stat sheet, he has very good athletic ability due to his very good acceleration, speed, jumping, good balance, and change of direction. As a running back, he thrives with gaining extra yards after contact. Uses his very good strength to power through. As a safety, he has dynamic coverage skills and impacts the running game. As a kicker, he demonstrates very good kick power and accuracy with clean kicking motion. Look for him to continue dominating next season.     Dattilo measures in at 6'1 180-pounds and is an exciting kicker for Cherry Creek splitting duties with standout [player_tooltip player_id='1625972' first='Jolon' last='Quintana']. Dattilo had 47 kickoffs for 2971 yards, 34 touchbacks, longest being 77 yards, including 36/37 on PATs. Dattilo has very good leg strength with very good leg accuracy. He showed consistency and accuracy throughout this PAT attempts only missing 1. As a kickoff specialist, he dominated. Used his leg strength to launch the ball way past the endzone consistently getting touchbacks. Very good height of the ball and hang time. Dattilo still shows his monster leg even against the wind. He's also earned himself a 4.5 star on the kicking rating scale nationally. Keep an eye on this one.     Keaton plays varsity soccer including football. Keaton has 27 kickoffs with 9 touchbacks, 32/36 on PATs, 5/5 on FGs with 40 yards being his longest. Keaton has good leg strength and very good leg accuracy. He does a solid job getting touchbacks resulting in 33% of the time. His kicks have good hang time allowing the special teams unit to reach the returners. Keaton thrives with his accuracy. He shows off his good leg control and placement. He does a very good job handling pressure. Keaton kicked the game winning 40-yard field goal winning the 3A state championship for Pomona. Look for Keaton to keep showing his consistency and power next season.     McComas is another dynamic athlete getting reps at kicker. He measures in at 5'10 160-pounds, playing WR/CB/K/P. He had 18 carries for 116 yards, 5 receptions for 107 yards with 1 touchdown, 24 total tackles (16 solo, 8 assisted), 2 TFL, 3 PD, 37 kickoffs for 2236 yards, 16 touchbacks, 12 punts for 423 yards, 4 inside the 20, 20/26 on PAT, 4/6 on FGs, longest 32 yards. McComas has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. As a special team specialist, he thrives. McComas has good leg strength and does a good job handling the wind. McComas has shown to have good leg accuracy as well. On punts, he has a great hang time and distance to flip the field. I'm interested in seeing his development this off-season.     Kaali-Nagy measures in at 5'11 175-pounds. He had 42 kickoffs for 2176 yards, 14 touchbacks, 60 being his longest, 6 punts for 215 yards with getting it 3 times inside the 20. He went 25/29 on PATs, and 3/6 on FGs with his longest being 44 yards. Kaali-Nagy has good leg strength and accuracy. As a punter, he can flip the field and put his defense in good position. He does a good job handling pressure. I'd like to see more consistency from him on field goals, however I believe he has a bright future ahead of him.
