We recently released our updated 2027 player rankings, and now we're taking a closer look at the top uncommitted defensive linemen in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311644' first='Jamaree' last='Horton'] is a dominant defensive tackle for IRHS and currently our No.5-ranked DL recruit in the 2027 class.

He's the type of interior playmaker who needs to be double-teamed at all times, and he's done a good job of improving his pass rush repertoire over the past couple of seasons.

Horton currently has double-digit FBS and FCS offers, with his most recent being Georgia State in June.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311632' first='Jaron' last='Collins'] has excellent length and knows how to use it to his advantage along the defensive line. He's incredibly hard to block 1-on-1, and he's been a steady riser for us over the past year or so.

Collins is also used as a linebacker from time to time in different sub-packages, but his natural position is at defensive end.

If he continues to stand out throughout his senior season, Collins could see some legitimate offers roll in soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311663' first='Jysir' last='Williamson'] is slightly undersized, but that hasn't stopped him from being a game-wrecker over the past two seasons for GHS.

He has a great build and is a better athlete than he's given credit for. Williamson also has some flexibility when it comes to where he can play at the collegiate level. He has the type of strength needed to play inside if he gains some weight, and the above-average hand-fighting skills and block-shedding ability to play on the edge.

His ideal spot at the next level could be at defensive tackle as a gap-shooting 3-technique.

[player_tooltip player_id='1312059' first='Gage' last='Gutierrez'] came onto the scene late, but he's been incredibly impressive on both sides of the ball for Strasburg.

He has a surprisingly quick first step on defense and explodes out of his stance on every play. He also has great core strength and leg drive as a bull rusher, which pairs incredibly well with his explosiveness off the line.

It'll be interesting to see where he plays at the next level, but right now, defensive line might be his most intriguing option.
