Horton has evolved into one of the best Offensive Tackle prospects on the east coast IMO. He shows great body control, discipline and fundamentals. He is playing with more aggression than he used to and is playing through the whistle. He has a great football body. He has a great wingspan, nice girth, and is thick and powerful in the lower body. He looks like he will have a high squat and dead lift. He shows twitch and fluidity. He bends well and rolls the hips in run blocking. He shows patience and discipline in pass pro. I always liked him better on defense, but have come around. He can be a left or right tackle on offense. How quick are his feet, and how good is his kick step, could dictate what position he plays in college. I like where he’s at developmentally, he’s made great strides. He has become a long 300 lb Tackle prospect. Some of Coach Carr’s finest work.
On Sunday, Jamaree showed exceptional movement and twitch for a kid his size. His girth and athletic ability allow him to control A gaps and make tackles. He shows fluidity, sheds blocks, has strong hands, and motor. Long kid who will only improve with reps and development.

is finally getting some necessary attention. An offer from Marshall University last week could be the turning point for the defensive lineman’s rise. You do not need me to tell you how good Horton is, he is already our 50th ranked prospect in our 2027 class.
Solid height and an elite frame. Measured at 6’02”, 312 lbs at our Winter showcase. Solid athlete with good explosiveness and balance, solid foot quickness, lateral movement, and flexibility. A two-way player as a Defensive Tackle and Offensive Lineman. We like him best at DT where he can use his size, strength, and explosiveness as a run defender. He can align anywhere from the 0-3 Technique and plays with good leverage and strength to hold his gap assignment. Uses his strength and long arms to lock out and shed blocks, meeting the ball carrier in the hole to make the tackle. Good strength and power in pass rush to push the pocket to put distress on the QB preventing him from stepping up in the pocket. As an offensive lineman, he projects as a guard. The raw tools are there. He is a mauler in the run game, driving the defender out of the gap. At our showcase, he displayed a very good anchor in pass protection. He will need to develop his balance and core strength to sustain block fits and play with more control on the field. Overall, we project him to be a D1 prospect.
A versatile lineman who impressed me with his quickness at his size. His ability to anchor himself and play stronger than the competition stood out the most in his 1v1 reps. Also plays defensive line where we currently have him ranked. Greatly impressed by his work at the showcase and is a name schools need to be paying attention to moving forward.

has not missed a beat in his sophomore season. He is a beast off the line of scrimmage at nose tackle for the Braves, good arm strength and reach too. Going up against some elite competition Horton has more than held his own, the 51st ranked prospect is certainly going to see his stock rise.
