Mankato East has been on an absolute tear in the recruiting department the past few years. Spearheaded by now-Northern Illinois freshman offensive tackle Braden Petzel, East has been pumping out scholarship prospects like candy, and the Cougs have an exciting new three-phase contributor in 2028 6'2, 190 lber. Colton Stehr. Coming off a sophomore season that includes 27 tackles, 1 INT, and 15 punt returns for 167 yards and 1 TD, Stehr has stepped int a much bigger role on offense, as well as continued his production as a defender and returner. He's posted 16 catches for 226 and 1 TD through 3 games, 10 tackles, and 6 punt returns for 37 yards, and his Week 2 film versus RJM displayed a bit how East's offense game plans getting him the ball. End arounds, crossing route, etc.. and Stehr showed off noticeable burst after the catch, as he flew down the seam and made a nice play on the ball and required him to elevate and high-point the rock with a defender fast in tow. Next thing you know, TD. He's also sticky in coverage from the slot. Good PBU on a sit down/comeback route deep and inbetween the second and third levels of the field. Stehr breaks down well at the top of the route and strong after the catch, and the acceleration is very noticeable on film.

Week 3 versus Mankato West, Stehr got open on a deep crosser that really showed off his speed and how well he can up in gear, and he made a great open field 1v1 tackler on a loose Mankato West RB off-tackle and with a ton of room to stay elusive. Stehr planted a loose Scarlets' RB on a nice form tackle as that free defender and safety in the hole, and he runs the alley with great speed, pursuit leverage, and effectiveness. East has a good one here!

Stock riser alert, stock riser alert! Bloomington Jefferson's Joe Moore has been playing at a high level through the first three weeks of his junior season, and although the Jags sit at 1-2 with tough losses to Hastings and Cretin-Derham Hall the past two contests, Moore's been playing his butt off. The junior is sitting at 28 completions on 37 attempts (75.7%) for 284 yards and 3 TDs to 1 INT against quality 5A competition, and vs. CDH, Moore showed he can extend plays with his legs, is a good scrambler in the pocket, and can throw with accuracy off platform. He owns exciting burst, shiftiness, and overall comfortability toting the rock as a ball carrier, and produced an impressive goal line TD score thanks to some fantastic leg drive and effort from the junior QB. Moore spread the ball around well to his playmakers against good competition.

vs. Hastings, Moore climbs the pocket smoothly and effectively, can rocket the ball well off-platform and from different angles, and he flashed a strong arm and will set his feet and deliver a strike through upcoming contact and a big hit looming. Moore displays noticeable velocity, a quick release, good timing on routes all around the field, and the ability to move the chains for his offense with his legs. Good athlete and will bang it between the tackles too. PRZMN will be watching Moore closely this fall!

Wayzata has what seems like a boatload of new names hitting the scene and radar this 2026 fall season. A 2028 EDGE currently balling out in the non-varsity ranks, Nathaniel Wells has caught PRZMN's attention thanks to a couple of good JV 6A showings against Andover and Edina. In the X film vs. Andover, Wells proves himself to be a DE with a strong base who can slip through gaps and blocking attempts along the LOS, and his heavy hands create separation when he puts the paws on, locks out, and extends. He'll also pursue out to the edge with good hustle and speed. In the X film vs. Edina, he flashes a good get-off in pass rush settings, can shock and shed around the LOS, shows good play speed, and will close and tackle with pace. Keep up the good work, Nathaniel!

The Woodbury Royals have a fun roster this fall, and a handful of rising Royals' names have really caught the attention of PRZMN. One of these newcomers is Reggie Wedan, a 6'3, 210 lb. LB who is really putting some good stuff on film coming into tonight's midseason games, most notably physicality. In his Week 1 film vs. Roseville, Wedan proves himself to be a strong tackler who can win and subdue at the contact point, he displays the speed to track down, pursue, and catch ball carriers from the backside of the LOS. He displays fluid COD ability helps him in man coverage out of the slot, a tough ask of any 'backer, but shows off the top-end speed to stay comfortability in the hip pocket of the receiver, as well as display prosper eye discipline and good timing and physicality at the catch point as he contests. The versatile defensive presence can blitz with an exciting blend of speed, timing, and power, especially when speaking of the blocker who has to try and slow Wedan down. He also shows closing speed as a blitzer, a big-time crushing sack, and a couple of impressive hurries on the Raiders' QB as well. Wedan should make a good debut on the 2028 Big Board soon!

St. Anthony Village has a dynamic and productive 2028 on their hands and manning the QB position in Mason Urdahl. Even though the Huskies are 1-2, Urdahl, according to MNFootballHub, has posted 42 rushes for 401 yards and 6 TDs and is 26-48 for 225 passing yards and 2 TDs to 1 INT. The QB and catcher on the baseball team is also a standout student who scored a 36 on the ACT and holds a 4.0 GPA.

His Week 1 highlights display a ball carrier who is fast, quick, and bursty in the open field with ball in-hand. He accelerates out of his cuts and his quickness and footwork are a real problem for defenders to try and handle in space. The read option QB displays explosive burst that gets him to the second and third level of the field with pace, and he's a tough 1v1 assignment for that free defender and safety to try and corral. Urdahl can throw well on the move and lead receivers open, as well as throw with accuracy and timing from the pocket. Plus, he can get the ball out of his hand quickly too. Homerun speed and will run behind his pads and with physicality. I want more film on this kid soon!

[player_tooltip player_id='2178686' first='Oliver' last='Villar'] is one of a few new standout 2028 Wayzata Trojans making waves and hitting our radar this fall. 6'2, 200 lb. OLB Villar, who is also a good baseball player and multi-sport athlete for the Trojans, took a visit to St. John's on September 19th, and you can absolutely see the collegiate potential from his three games of tape this fall. In the Week 1 film vs. Andover, where Villar tallied 7 tackles, .5 sacks, and 1 TFL, Villar proved he can shock, shed, and tackle effectively on the edge. From a two-point stance outside the tackle, Villar is a strong tackler who can come flat down the LOS and make plays in an opponents' backfield.

In his Week 2 film vs. Edina, where he posted 2 tackles, 1 PBU, and 1 QB pressure, Villar produced a good read and got his hands up into the passing lane on an attempted screen for the PBU. He also showed he can make tackles through contact. Week 3 film vs. STMA, where the 200 lber. posted 2.5 tackles, .5 TFL, and 2 QB pressures, Villar closed on QBs quickly when they scramble outside the pocket and was once again shocking, shedding, and tackling effectively around the box.

He displayed speed to stay on top of 6A WRs working vertical, good footwork, and is overall comfortable under and playing the deep ball in the air. I like Ssebbaale's good body positioning, as he stays square, plays with the proper amount of physicality, and does a great job of breaking up the timing of a WR's route thanks to his jam and hand usage. In Post's Weeks 1 and 2 highlights, the 6'2, 175 lb. WR's contact balance after the catch and burst immediately stand out on tape. He's comfortable and dangerous with ball in-hand and in space and will consistently will pump out chunk plays and move the chains. Post displays noticeable acceleration and get-up after the catch, soft hands, and is a smooth, powerful cutter.
