Somehow, someway, we're halfway through the Minnesota prep football regular season. Seemingly a blink, we can at least take comfort in the fact that the state's Week 4 action and results were a doozy with upsets, nail-biting finishes, and great high school matchups under Friday Night Lights galore. PrepRedzoneMN is always on the hunt for risers, breakout names and performances, and standouts, especially during the season, and we have identified some exciting new talents below! PrepRedzoneMN subscribers only! One of these Tigers is emerging in particularly memorable fashion this fall and especially in Week 4 action, as 5'10, 190 lb. Dacarri Lowery. The sophomore two-way standout tallied 23 rushes for 190 yards and 2 TDs in the young man's breakout performance in Week 4 against Big Lake in the 42-24 win. Possessing superior size/strength/power, as well as the knowledge and ability to use it, Lowery fits in more than comfortably against varsity competition, and his Week 1-3 highlights show off a LB with a nose for the ball who reads his keys, shows off play speed, shoots gaps with pace, and can make plays in an opponents' backfield as an off-ball LB. The sophomore displays the speed and strength to beat blocking attempts around the box, he wins at the contact point, and shows good hustle and overall effort. Lowery also demonstrates some speed and bend off the edge as a blitzer, as well as loose hips, good COD ability, and the ability to gain depth in his drops from his LB spot. As a RB with some dirty quickness and moves in the open field, his strong lower body also helps him carry would-be tacklers for extra yardage post-contact. He displays vision, burst when he sees space, and a fun blend of balance, physicality, lateral agility, and power. Quite the up-and-comer in the 2029 ranks. We gotta get this kid on the ranking's Big Board ASAP.

X: @DacarriLowery34

IG: carri_3411

Big Lake is playing some solid football so far in 2026, and the Hornets have several prospects that PRZMN is and will be paying close attention to this season. Additionally, a new Hornet broke out onto the scene in Big Lake's Week 4 loss to Delano, and 2029 LB [player_tooltip player_id='2050057' first='Bryson' last='Kipka'] posted 12 tackles in loss to Delano. No useful highlights on Hudl, and limited social media presence, but a double-digit tackle game as an underclassman starter is a good way to grab some attention. Update that tape, Bryson!

X:

IG: brysonkipka

Braham's [player_tooltip player_id='1629909' first='David' last='Londgren'] is in the midst of a stock rising senior season that is sure to land him on the ranking's Big Board ASAP come update time. The 6'3, 195 lber. popped off for 230 yards and 5 TDs in the Bombers' 51-8 win over Chishom on Friday night in Week 4 action. In a 59-yard run vs. Chisholm posted on Hudl, Londgren is presented with a huge hole, and he made one cut and was gone. Out-paced two or three pursuers before getting hawked down near his opponent's 10-yard line.

In a 10-yard TD run vs. Barnum, Londgren went straight up the gut, ran through and over a couple of tackle attempts in physical fashion as well. In a 15-yard run vs. Pine City, Londgren displayed good speed working off-tackle, finished the run with physicality and authority. His 20-yard TD run vs. East Central showed off straight-line speed and natural playmaking ability on display. We got a real Greater Minnesota sleeper on our hands here!

X:

IG: david_londgren

[player_tooltip player_id='1909257' first='Brian' last='White III'] is maybe the #1 most overlooked prospect - and especially offensive player - in Minnesota right now. The standout White Bear Lake tailback, who is the lynchpin of the Bears' impressive 2025-2026 season turnaround, has posted 866 yards and 10 TDs in 4 games, including 41 rushes for 327 yards and 4 TDs in the Bears' 34-21 win over East Ridge. White III's midseason tape opens with a heckuva homerun hit of a TD against Park. In the blink of the eye, he's gone up the gut. I don't think anyone even touched him and the last pursuer was just inside 20 yards of catching him by the time he passed the goal line. His stutter steps and cuts freeze defender's ankles, and he doesn't seem to lose any speed when he changes direction at a sprint. White III is able to dust 6A defenders' pursuit angles, even back-end players with a full lead up and chance to catch him, and it's very difficult to not notice and appreciate the absurd speed/contact balance. He barely loses momentum as he works through multiple tackle attempts in a single rep and carry. The kid owns loads of power, will run behind his pads, run you over, and carry on like he was running through pads at practice. It's also game over if he gets the edge, sideline, or even a full head of steam. Plus, PRZMN likes his jittery footwork, ability to go speed to power as a ball carrier and accelerates into contact, and how he can run through and break multiple tackle attempts in a single carry. Big-time jump cut too.

X: @Brianwhiteiii

IG: vibew.brian

You can always count on St. Thomas Academy to produce some notable stock risers, standouts, and need-to-know high school football recruits. With a significant amount of talent lost to the 2026 class's graduation, there's been room for reps and opportunity on the new-look Wildcats roster. 2029 LB Alex Mattees is one of these young bucks making a name for himself this season, and he's coming off a huge Week 4 performance that saw him finish with 9 tackles, 3 TFLs, and 2 sacks in the big win over Lake City, 53-14. No film, no socials, and will remain as mysterious as he has been productive! The Dragons' old QB1 was a monster on the stat sheet, but Litchfield seems to have slotted in an exciting QB/DB and junior standout in Jayden Fenrich. Although there isn't a ton of available film from the 6'2, 160 lber. we do know that he popped off for an 11 completion on 13 attempt passing day for 249 yards and 4 TDs in the 59-6 win over Montevideo in MN Week 3 action. In the publicly available tape, like Fenrich's 56-yard TD pass vs. Montevideo, he threw a good ball on a dump, led the receiver open, distributed to his playmakers. In the 30-yard TD pass vs. New London-Spicer, he dropped the ball in a bucket beautifully on a fade route. Just enough film to get me hooked, just too little to get a feel on Fenrich as a prospect.

X: @JaydenFenrich

IG: jayden_f27

Yet another recruiting cycle with a Deer River prospect on the Big Board. The Greater Minnesota, Itasca County, and northern MN small school 2028 is quite the electric tailback and ball carrier amongst the MN junior class. Isaacs just went off for 30 rushes for 171 yards and 2 TD rushing performance in the win over Barnum, not to mention five tackles in the 22-16 win.

Isaacs is a long, sleek, jittery ball carrier who plays with good angles, sets up defenders well, and uses every inch of the gridiron's width to his advance. The junior is electric and elusive in space with good vision, can see space before it materializes and has the burst and speed to really stab defenses when given a seam, and owns great balance. He can accelerate and get back up to top speed impressively from a dead stop, owns the top-end speed that blows by defenders and their pursuit angles, and he seems to slide off and work through weaker tackle attempts at his lower body. Very impressive contact balance for the size and age. Isaacs puts defenders on skates in the open field and accelerates and can shift into another gear or power and burst if the situation calls for it. He also put a huge stick on a Chisholm pass catcher over the middle on a slant. Really rocked the pass catcher and put him on his keister in physical and emphatic fashion. Also made a nice interception on a 50/50 ball that showed off some ball skills. Isaacs even owns a good stiff arm and uses his weapon when given the opportunity and demonstrates homerun speed that can break open a defense on any given carry. This kid is going to make some recruiting waves, we can feel it!

X: @kellanisaacs2

IG: cantguard_k1

PRZMN loves us a Great Minnesota small school power back. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted has a real gem on their hands in [player_tooltip player_id='2128323' first='Jaxon' last='Ewert'], a 5'11, 220 lber. who is really having himself a strong senior campaign that culminated in a Week 4 performance netting him 15 rushes for 234 yards and 4 TDs in the 28-18 win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta. In the film available, including a 72-yard TD run vs. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, Ewert displays a great frame that is noticeably thick but holds his weight well . He takes a toss field-side, fakes the reverse, absolutely dusts the LB trying to run the alley and hawk him down off the edge. Hits the sideline, gets up to top speed, and easily runs through and works through the final pursuer's tackle attempt and angle on the sideline. Raw speed and contact balance fully on display.

In his 10-yard TD run vs. Holy Family, he pops off an absurd TD run that sees him attack through the A or B gap, then run through not one, not two, but five to six tackle attempts and wrap ups that required him to drop low to the ground but maintain his balance, and drag three or four more defenders through the goal line in dramatic, incredibly powerful fashion. In his 10-yard TD run vs. Jordan, he takes a pitch from the 10-yard line, works out to the edge, absolutely trucks a helpless Hubmen would-be tackler, then accelerate and power through three more tackle attempts at the goal line, who he prevents from pushing him out of bounds and from entering over the goal line. Speed, power, physicality, and a nose for the endzone all on display. Someone could land themselves a real diamond of a small school RB in their 2027 class if they hit this young man's line up!

X: N/A

IG: N/A

Champlin Park is looking like a legit 6A Prep Bowl contender through the midseason mark of 2026. Loaded with talent and size across a variety of different position groups, PRZMN is well acquainted with the Rebels' roster this fall, but we're especially excited about the rising performance from 2029 6', 180 lb. LB/DB Amir Rogers. The underclassman had a breakout Week 4 showing against Rogers High School last Friday, wherein the young buck finished with a splash-play-heavy 3 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 FF versus the Royals. The tape displayed, as follows:

great read, break on the ball, and physical finish at the catch point on a Royals' out-route

excellent closing speed and sniffed out the ball and the gap to shoot as he exploded into the backfield and made a tough 1v1 sack on the Rogers' QB attempting to roll out field side

great 1v1 tackle at a tough angle and involving a big breakdown coming at top speed on kickoff coverage

made another sticky PBU on a goal line attempted whip route

outrageous closing speed as a blitzer off the edge in his second.
