The lengthy 3-star versatile DB heads into the season with his options all still in front of him as he takes his time to decide where he ends up. Woodford County is at home Saturday against a high-powered Tates Creek offense. Getting off to a strong start could be huge for Holman to attract more eyes. He's got the length, the traits, the production, and instincts to thrive in the backend for a long time. With offers currently from Missouri, Purdue, Kentucky, and Liberty, he's sitting nicely with an opportunity for more offers to come his way.

The big-bodied 6'5" TE out of Boyle County is on quite a few radars heading into the season. He offers a big catch radius, true end-of-the-line blocking ability, and sneaky good athleticism, which helps stretch the field. He's coming off of a knee injury, and if he can show he's fully healthy and ready to go, he could potentially add another star to his ranking. With 13 offers from mainly BIG10 programs, it seems schools are confident he'll be just fine. Kentucky, Louisville, West Virginia, Purdue, and Wisconsin, just to name a few, are already in the mix for his home at the next level, with more likely to come.

Dantzler heads into the season as one of the more intriguing DBs still available on the board. Not only is he good on the back end with good length, but he brings some kick-returning ability with him. He's a dynamic athlete who makes a lot of things look easy, which is why he's picked up so much traction. Central starts their season at home against a really good Dupont Manual team with an offense that can light up the scoreboard, so he has an opportunity to make a mark right away. With offers from Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Boston College, and more, the eyes will be on him to see how week 1 unfolds.

Despite his 3-star ranking, there's still a chance Holley is one of the more underrated QBs in the 2027 class as a whole. With good footwork, vision in the pocket, and a really good arm, he can do just about everything. Glasgow starts their season against Southwestern, who will likely be hungry coming off a surprisingly bad 1-10 season last year. With offers from UCF, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and more, I think Holley has the perfect chance to come out and seize the moment and make a big splash in week 1. He's someone I can easily see flying up boards as this fall progresses if he stays on course.

Making the move from Scott County to Eminence, Harmon is looking to prove he can play at a higher level and be the same difference-maker. He's a physical presence on the field with the frame of an LB and the speed and range of a DB. He's hard-hitting and seems like someone who can be a valuable hybrid piece. They start the season on the road at Powell County, whose offense can be hit or miss but has the potential to have huge games. Harmon is likely still getting a feel for the defense, and this should be a good test to see where he's at with it. Having recently picked up an offer from Rhode Island, I'd expect that list to continue to grow as the season goes along.

The big-bodied interior lineman from Frederick Douglas has had a fantastic summer and has put himself in a position to have a big fall. He's a powerful run-blocking guard who can go on the move, has good hand placement, and vision when getting up the field. The raw frame and potential are obvious, but it's the hard work he puts in behind closed doors that has really helped him start to take off. They start their year against Highlands, who got the better of them 21-20 last year in double OT. This one likely means a lot to both teams, and it should be a good start to the season to see how far Gillispie has come. With offers from Ohio, Akron, and UIndy, I'd expect more to be on the way soon once his senior tape starts to hit the socials.
