Burgess also returns kickoffs and plays running back for Christian County, where he totaled 119 all-purpose yards as a true athlete offensively, defensively, and on special teams. What sets Beecher apart from other DB prospects is his ability to play under pressure or when his defense needs a stop. He was one of North Hardin's leading tacklers in the opening loss to LCA. Most recently, he logged three tackles and a pass breakup in a loss against Pulaski County. This is coming off a season where he logged 48 total tackles in 2025. He's well on his way to surpassing that number this fall.
