Enjoy!

The 2026 football season kicks off this week and we're kicking off our coverage with complete and in-depth breakdowns on the state's senior class. This is a class that will go down in the history books as one of the best in state history. We've updated our 2027 rankings to include the Top 200 prospects in the state. We have a ton of individual breakdowns dropping every day to spotlight some of those special prospects. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the top five offensive linemen in this class. This is a position group that has gotten incredibly deep over the last 12 months. But it's headlined by two prospects at the top that are also the number one and number two overall prospects in the state's 2027 class. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more 2027 individual breakdowns!

Fort Gibson offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1530067' first='Cooper' last='Hackett'] has held on to the top spot against three other prospects that have a very legitimate case for being the top overall prospect. Unfortunately, Hackett will more than likely miss all of his senior season after undergoing offseason surgery. There was some optimism this summer that Hackett could be cleared and rejoin the Tigers in November for a playoff push. Regardless of if he's back with the Tigers or not, it's pretty clear that Hackett is one of the top prospects in the country. It's amazing what the game of football can do. Three years ago, Hackett probably thought he would go to college to play basketball. And when he heads to college now to play football, he'll also end up becoming a millionaire very soon.

Bixby offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='528027' first='Kaeden' last='Penny'] is right there with Hackett at the top of this 2027 class and it's been this way for the last few ranking updates. Penny got on everyone's radar shortly after his freshman season and it became pretty clear that he would be one of the better prospects in the nation during his sophomore season. He's a fun prospect to watch because he's dominant on both sides of the line of scrimmage. His future looks like it will be on the offensive side of the line and he's next up in a long line of Spartan lineman to head off to the next level. There are other prospects in this class that have very high ceilings based on “what could happen” but Penny feels like a prospect that is the safest bet to be a dude at the next level.

The Class of 2027 is special and Oruru is a great example of that. In about every class over the last decade, he'd be a top five overall prospect. Since his freshman year there's been a lot of promise for Oruru a an offensive tackle. But while promising was still figuring some things out on the line of scrimmage. That light definitely came on in the offseason after his sophomore year and prior to his junior season. Because starting all, he was a dominant left tackle. He plays the game with aggression and has just gotten better and better from a technique standpoint. This week, he flipped his commitment from Arkansas To Oklahoma State.

Out of these five lineman, Mount St. Mary's [player_tooltip player_id='1680645' first='Malachi' last='Hardiman'] is the toughest prospect to project when it comes to the next level. On one hand, he is very clearly one of the better offensive lineman prospects in this class, specifically as an interior lineman. But he's also capable of dominating the line of scrimmage as a defensive lineman. As evident in his performance last year against the eventual state champions from Jones. But one thing is clear for he's a next level prospect no matter what side of the line of scrimmage he plays on. But there are signs that point he has the ability to excel higher on the offensive line. He's part of a very talented Mount St. Mary senior class.

Ada offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1834818' first='Jake' last='Matthews'] emerged around this time last year as a name that we needed to know about in the state's 2027 class. He first got on our radar after checking out his film and being blown away with his ability at the tackle position. Then when he came to our February showcase event and he was the best offensive lineman prospect in an OL group that was very talented. It's pretty clear that Matthews is an absolute workhorse. He's been getting as much work this offseason to improve his craft and be a more dominant force on the line of scrimmage. What a difference 12 months makes as Matthews wasn't on our radar and now is a top five offensive lineman in this class.
