Some guys have "it," and he gives off that vibe when you watch him play. He has a big arm, a quick release, and good feet, and it all seems to come naturally. He's got a fantastic deep ball that he can land in a bucket. He has a good frame, is a good athlete, and can take off to make things happen with his legs when the play breaks down. More than anything, he looks confident. Nothing seems rushed, and he plays like he belongs. I really like where he's at right now, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he puts together a huge year.

Duckwall is a promising young quarterback with a bunch of good traits to build around. He gets the ball out quickly, doesn't panic when pressure gets in his face, and consistently puts the football where his receivers can make a play. I really like how comfortable he looks throwing on the move, especially rolling to his right. He already has a full season under his belt, and that experience should only help him going into year two. The game looked like it started slowing down for him as the season went on, and I'm interested to see what that next step looks like.

Onono is a good athlete in the pocket who does a nice job extending plays when things break down. He usually keeps his eyes downfield instead of dropping them at the first sign of pressure, which gives his receivers more time to uncover. He gets the ball out quickly in the short to intermediate passing game and doesn't hold onto it longer than he has to. If nothing is there, he has the athleticism to take off and gash a defense with his legs. I like that he doesn't rely on his mobility, but it's always there when he needs it.

Ridner is coming off a prolific middle school career and already has a lot of ability that is easy to get excited about. He has a good frame, sees over the line with ease, and has a clean over-the-top release that makes it tough for defenders to get their hands on the football. He can make throws off his back foot, throw from different platforms, and still stands in against pressure. He can fire a ball into a tight spot or take some off and add touch down the field. The physical tools are obvious, but so is the confidence. Everything about his game points toward someone who has a chance to light it up for a long time if he keeps developing.

Jackson is a good-looking young quarterback with plenty of raw arm talent. His footwork is already pretty solid for his age, and he does a nice job knowing where to go with the football instead of holding onto it. He seems to process what's happening in front of him and can make those quick decisions. He throws with anticipation, knows how to throw receivers open, and doesn't wait for guys to be wide open before letting it go. You can coach mechanics, footwork, and scheme, but it's a lot harder to teach that natural feel for the position. To me, that's one of the most valuable traits a quarterback can have, and Jackson already shows signs of it.
