KHSAA Week 3 Player Spotlight: Boyle County vs Lexington Catholic

Here are the players to watch out for in the matchup. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>*We are omitting [player_tooltip player_id='1200686' first='Seneca' last='Driver'] for this story.*</em> He is a five-star recruit, the top-ranked player in Kentucky, and is committed to Oklahoma. Driver scored four touchdowns in the first half against Bryan Station last week before the Rebels sat their starters. He's tasked with distributing the ball to a laundry list of talented skill players for Boyle County. That's not a knock on him, as he has a strong arm, is accurate, and has great poise in the pocket. Raleigh makes good decisions with the football and is athletic enough to roll out and beat defenders with his legs. He's thrown six touchdown passes so far, including a 282-yard, four-touchdown performance against Owensboro Catholic in Week 1. Coming off a near 1,000-yard receiving season as a junior in 2025, Johnson is going to be one of Boyle County's most targeted receivers this fall. We know he's a potent threat offensively, but he's made some big-time stops defensively for the Rebels in key moments this season. Last week, he received an offer from Shawnee State University. Described by his head coach, Justin Haddix, as someone who "does all the dirty work and just makes plays on both sides of the ball." Logan most recently made Prep Redzone's 4A Preseason All-State defensive team. Like his teammate, Logan received an offer from Shawnee State last week. He updated his frame to 6'2" and 210 pounds ahead of his junior year. Against Paul Lawrence Dunbar in Week 2, he recorded a sack, one tackle for loss, and ran a touchdown in on offense. He plays both running back and can be used out of the Wildcat. Schlarman already has offers from schools like Miami (OH) and Eastern Kentucky. He was reported at 6'2" on his Hudl profile this offseason. However, he has since shot up to 6'5" and 225 pounds, and appears to have elevated his game to the next level this offseason. caught two touchdown passes last week during Lexington Catholic's road win over Dunbar. In Week 1, A week earlier, he hauled in a touchdown reception with 39 receiving yards to show for it against Ballard. He scored another in the second half to help put the Knights up five scores en route to an eventual 47-0 victory. Harper will be getting a lot of looks this season as Lexington Catholic continues its offensive transition from a more methodical, clock-control scheme to a wide-open, pass-centric one.
