Central Ohio Recruiting Roundup: Top Prospects Earn Summer Offers

Here are four Buckeye State prospects who were on a roll and picked up some of their first offers last summer. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end is a good point-of-attack defender who gets pad under pad. He can pursue and chase without breaking contain, stay flat across the LOS and make plays. Flashes good twitch as a pass rusher who can bend and turn the corner. Had seven sacks and 67 total tackles last season. He can coffin-corner punt and has a strong leg. Numbers to finsh last season: 35 punts with a 31.09 yard average, 38 total kickoffs with a 34.49 average net yards, and 23 touchbacks. Ohio Northern made an offer for his services; he is ranked NO. 1 overall combo kicker and punt by Kohl's. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker takes great pursuit angles. He is also an explosive blitzer who can shoot through gaps, make open-field tackles and pressure the quarterback. Lawniczak wraps up at the point of contact and has a high motor. Yale offered and Walsh University offered.  Recorded 80 tackles and seven sacks last season. McAllister is developing into one of the top Class of 2029 prospects in the state of Ohio, as well as the Midwest and nation at large. McAllister finished his freshman year with 1,400 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns. He has great speed, burst through the hole, and top-end juice once he breaks the second level. McAllister is a decisive runner who is at his best between the tackles, but he is dangerous when getting out in space, too. One-cut-and-go running back with good change-of-direction.
