Rep 1: Lined up in the slot against off-man coverage (defensive back five yards off, inside alignment). Breaks on a 10-yard corner route, gets separation from the defensive back, but drops the football.

Rep 2: Lined up in the slot against press coverage (defensive back inside alignment), doesn't get jammed off the line of scrimmage and is able to get into his 10-yard out route, gets 1-2 yards of separation off the break. The ball is thrown a little behind him, but he's able to adjust and make the catch.

Rep 3: Lined up on the outside, against press coverage, able to avoid a jam as he releases to the outside. Sells the go-route, but breaks back on the 10-yard comeback. The defensive back falls for the subtle go-route fake; Caesar is open, but the ball is overthrown.

Rep 4: Lined up on the outside, press coverage, and again avoids the jam attempt at the line of scrimmage as he runs a go-route. He's open by 1-2 yards but the ball is overthrown.

Rep 5: Lined up in the slot against off-man coverage (defensive back is 5-yards out and lined up on top of the wide receiver, no man's land). Ceasar is able to run straight down the hash with no resistance from the defensive back. Unfortunately, the ball is underthrown. Incompletion.

Rep 6: Lined up outside (inside of the numbers), against press coverage. HE's able to get an inside release as he attempts to run a 10-yard corner route. The defensive back is actually in a good position as the ball is thrown, but Caesar makes a nice adjustment in the air and makes the catch.

He consistently beat the game or avoided contact in a few of those reps. Caesar did a nice job of creating separation at the break point as well. Only negative was the one drop (I'm sure he'd agree that he should've caught that pass). I liked his ability to adjust to a couple of passes that were underthrown. Caesar showed versatility as well, lining up both inside and outside during 1v1's.

Rep 1: Lined up in the slot, defensive back is in off-man coverage (5 yards off, outside alignment). Looks like he tries to run a corner route, but it turns into a post route. Miscommunication with the quarterback; the ball is underthrown. If he stayed with the corner route, most likely would've been a completion.

Rep 2: Lined up in the slot against press coverage. He releases to the outside, the defensive back doesn't get a jam, and he runs a go-route down the sideline. Tight coverage by the defensive back who gets his hands up, but the throw and catch are just a little better. Great concentration by Griffin as he makes an over-the-shoulder catch right along the sideline.

Rep 3: Lined up in the slot, the defensive back gets a jam on him. As he makes the break inside for the dig at 10 yards, the defensive back is forced to hold him. Incomplete pass, but Griffin gets the win for the rep. Good job at getting the cornerback out of position during his break.

Rep 4: Lined up in the slot, press coverage (defensive back is lined head-up). Griffin releases inside, which makes it easy for him to catch a five-yard slant. The defensive back ends up trailing by 2-3 yards.

Griffin won his reps with quickness and technique, and was able to create separation against press coverage. He also consistently beat the jam and avoided contact at the line as well. Flexible with his releases, winning both outside and inside. Won reps on mostly short-to-intermediate routes.

Rep 1: Lined up on the outside against off-man coverage (defensive back at 7 yards). Thomas runs a 10-yard comeback, has the defensive back retreating, doesn't have to eat up the cushion. Makes the catch near the sideline despite the defensive back attempting to hit the football out of his hand.

Rep 2: lined up on the outside against off-man coverage (the defensive back is at five yards). As he's running his ten-yard dig, the fear of him flying by makes the defensive back start to quickly backpedal. When Thomas breaks in for the dig, the defensive back is a few yards behind as he makes the catch.

His vertical speed forced defensive backs to open their hips and backpedal quickly. I thought he was sharp with his breaks and didn't round out or waste steps. Thomas did a good job of creating separation and finishing plays, even when the defensive back was contesting.

Rep 1: lined up on the outside, inside of the numbers against press coverage (defensive back Is aligned inside). Williams makes a quick shake-and-bake move at the line of scrimmage; the defensive back doesn't get a jam. Williams releases outside and gets a yard on two on the defensive back who opened the gate. He makes a hard break on his 10-12 yard comeback route and makes the catch (nice pass by the quarterback).

Rep 2: lined up in the slot; defensive back is in press coverage (inside alignment). As he makes a break on a 10-yard out route, the defensive back holds him. I give Williams credit for dealing with the physicality at the top of the route and still breaking open.

In the couple of reps that I watched, Williams showed some explosiveness off the line of scrimmage and was physical at the top of routes.
