Manning uses rips and swim moves to get around the offensive tackles that try to block him during pass plays. Versatile, plays from a two-point or three-point stance. Good closing speed. With a full year under his belt, I expect him to be more aggressive and quicker to the football. Middle linebacker who anticpates where the play is developing and makes solid tackles. Along with his 53 total tackles (25 solo), he intercepted eight passes and broke up another five in nine games. Has nice range and plays the safety position like a centerfielder. Colbert has also shown he can make things happen as both a kick and punter returner as well. He has a knack for putting himself in the right place at the right time to cause turnovers. If I'm a college, I'm taking a closer look at Brooks' junior-year highlights going this season. Brooks is a legit nickel back with the technique, agility, and athleticism to cover receivers in the slot. He doesn't give up any easy seperation early in the route. Able to play both press and off-man. Smooth backpedal too.
