He makes defenders miss after the catch. He adjusts back to the ball, high-points and makes acrobatic catches look easy. Legando wins contested catches easily and has surprising top-end speed and can be very elusive in space. Very good receiver who possesses good height and size. Can align as an H-back and get great vertical push. Austin is also a solid receiver with good adjustment to the ball. Very aggressive run blocker with a mean streak. Kent State, UConn, Ohio, Miami-Ohio, Toledo, and Cincinnati (his first Power 4 offer) have all extended opportunities to him.
